Gosh, what a beautiful place to take a walk or a bike ride! We have NOTHING like that. Well, we don’t have trees over 10” tall [mesquites] unless we plant them in our yards. LOL!
The funny thing is that Pond Meadow Park is barely outside of the City Of Boston, and is bordered by the HUGE Route 3 Highway to Cape Cod. It is in a very thickly Settled area. You can hear the highway, but you can’t see it.
I think it may have been a granite quarry at one time.
