That seat belongs to them. The American people have no right to take it away from them.

No seat BELONGS to the holder of that seat! Utter bosh! If a seat is vacated by death or whatever reason, there are rules in place to replace that individual. It should NEVER be an appointment to a relative in sympathy!
I remember the Kennedy's and their fellow Dems seemed to think the same way about Teddy's seat.
I am very tired of all of these American Dynasties. Now, as to McCain's wife -- what are her qualifications to be a U.S. Senator? Wasn't she like some beauty pageant winner? She may be a perfectly nice person; but, how is she Senate material?
