They end up being the only one’s who appreciate us, with the exception of the now “freed” Eastern Bloc Countries who also had the Russian Bear’s foot on them for half a century. I just want us to not be “the underpaid guards” for Western Europe, because they have, being freed of the costs of their own protection, managed to create a group of Socialist $hit hole countries that look down their noses at us!
And Trump is the ONLY PRESIDENT in my lifetime dedicated to taking the KICK ME SIGN off the backs of the American Taxpayers.

Germany hosts our army and air force, and though they sometimes object to what we do with those forces, they don't interfere.
Besides is not Poland on the eastern border of NATO a better location for a military base?
No. It's too close to Russia air bases and it doesn't have the road, rail and port infrastructure that Germany has. Germany is a very powerful location.
Now if you want to talk about an additional base placed in Poland, that would be a different conversation.
And didn’t some lickspittle from the EU (or was it Merkel) crowing the other day that America had “forsaken them,” and that it was up to them to take care of their own safety going forward? Trump should tell Jean Claude Junker (good name) and that Italian b!tch, Federica Mogherini, who’s in charge of immigration to go take a flying f*ck at a rolling doughnut!

But let’s not leave out completely rebuilding their infrastructure, and basic industries, while we let ours go untouched until we went out of business because of modern industries in Krautville like steelmaking crushing us.
It seemed like a smart idea at the time and it probably was. But now, a new generation with many Leftists and Greenies have taken over. No doubt a lot of Germans (especially in the older generations that remember the Soviet Union) appreciate what we have done. But like most soft socialists, they follow their emotions and not their brains.
If I had nothing to read and watch but the German media and other "news" outlets like CNN International, I would probably feel the same way as well. At least that was my impression the last time I was over there.
The US needs to pull out of ALL foreign bases.
AS a taxpayer, I am tired of paying for the defense of every other nation too damned lazy to protect itself.

Can hardly blame them. They have been victims of Russia and Germany many times before. The situation is no better these days with the EU threatening them from one side, and the expansionist Russians from the other.
Great plan. By having our troops in Germany all we are doing is shoring up their policy of being invaded by Syrians.
