Don’t worry, if you live up here you know the liberals in Seattle’s King County will get the state to declare a new tax and make the funds available to create an addition to EBT. Then the perps can get the ones that others don’t use as they do not drink coffee, and they can stay there all day getting free coffee and muffins.
And just as soon as they get a locked bathroom door where two consenting adults can play tickle and scratch or one or more can shoot up leaving junk behind, they can explain that one to the tax payers. Places will look like the south side of Chicago.

I have yet to see a single news report on any Starbucks backtracking.
And I’ve been watching for such reports since it seems obvious that Starbucks would have to abandon their stupid policy in some problem locations at a minimum.

My former coworker as a child was in a family of Mexicans all of whom had to fill flats each day picking berries here in Michigan. He grew up to work with me after doing that funny thing of going through proper citizenship processes. He said the methods varied and his theory of the e coli was what I posted.

I think the biggest problem we face with produce, fish, and seafood, is the stuff that comes from foreign countries. The Mexicans and the Asians will do pretty much anything to make a buck, even if it endangers the health of their customers. Growing vegetables in soil that’s got properly treated amendments in it is fine. The problem is that in some places, they use untreated sewage. Ditto for seafood, and particularly shellfish, because they “capture” chemicals in the waters in which they are grown. I wouldn’t eat an oyster that wasn’t raised here for anything. Remember when the Chinese mixed melamine in their export dog food, and it killed a bunch of our pets? Or when they sent us drywall that had so much formaldehyde in it that it had to be completely removed from literally thousands of homes, because it was such an acute health hazard? NIce of them to be making a buck off of us while they kill us!
I would make a statement if one
