Not only was Romney spied on but it is likely that the Obama people learned some critical information about him and he compromised. Romney did extremely well in the first debate and his campaign was doing very well. Very shortly thereafter he and the campaign tanked. He did horribly in the next two debates, Ryan performed like a fawn in the headlights against Biden and the energy from the campaign drained. Convinced Obama learned something devastating about Romney causing his to fold or else.
Agree - a lot of people do think Romney was throwing the election...quite possibly due to Obama’s spying. So I guess it did work there.
Romney/Ryan were Designated Losers.
McCain was too, but they did not tell Sarah Palin they were supposed to lose and she campaigned like she wanted to win so they dispatched Nicole Wallace to kneecap her.
