There is no doubt that if exactly the same had occurred in the opposite direction and the Hillary campaign had been getting spied on, that major investigations would have been launched many months ago, and the liberal media would be full of headlines about many republicans getting prosecuted and doing the perp walk and getting ready to wear their prison garbs.
As it stands now, what we’re getting is a lot of hot air from republicans and the liberal media is mute, and even Trump is just paying lip service to the “matter”.
Expect nothing much to happen on the issue, since, the deep-state is superior in capabilities and reach to anything the republicans have to counter it.
Steven Halper also received a large check in September 2015. I wonder who his assignment was at that time.

I believe SPYGATE is the tip of the iceberg. I would bet that this type of spying was an everyday common tactic of the Obama admin. I believe they spied on opponents in other political races, such as the 2012 Pres Election, on conservative organizations, on reporters, on Senators and Congress, and on the Supreme Court. The information was then used to Obama’s advantage in many ways, including threats. Remember John Robert’s curious rulings on ObamaCare? Make a little more sense now? If the full scope of the spying is uncovered, Obama could vo to prison for the rest of his life and his entire Presidency be made null and invalid.

My memory of the Romney campaign and the debates - is that of Candy Crowley interfering with a legitimate discussion on the Benghazi disaster. Obama claimed that he had acknowledged the affair as a terrorist attack on our embassy. When Romney challenged Obama and was basically calling POTUS Obama a liar, Crowley jumped in and sided with Obama. This was totally unfair and untruthful. It was despicable behavior for a so-called moderator to so openly support the lies of a leftist President.
That incident totally took the wind out of Romney, who is known to be a gentlemanlike type of person. He did not challenge Crowley.
I think that may have been a signal for DJT to jump into the 2016 election. Trump will never be a patsy for his opponents. He will fight for what he believes. That quality is what endeared him to the rest of us ‘deplorables’ and fly-over country patriots.

Papadop was also matched with a hot Italian girlfriend who happened to work for Mifsud. Purely accidental of course. She figures Papadop gets a light sentence and then turns into an MSM pundit. I'm not quite sure if she's also a patsy or part of the plot.
