You cannot disarm people. What is this judge going to do about someone who attacks you with a pointed stick? Or with fresh fruit?

Make it that people will need permits and background checks to purchase any type of knife. Background checks work so well against gun purchasers. [/s]

Do we have to let them drive us back to the stone-age before we drive them out of power You know, the stone age was is called the stone age because people used sharp stones to kill each other.

Having listened to this judge's solution to UK's soaring knife crime rate by blunting the tip of sharp knives, don't you wonder, "Who ties his shoelaces for him in the morning?"
Ban the sale of large, pointed kitchen knives?
Why not start with universal background checks to purchase the knives?
Next, require every law-abiding knife owner to file the sharp tips off of their knives.
And then down the road, ban them from everybody's kitchen's for safety's sake?
Sound familiar?

Just cut your hands off! No more crime! What about elbows, knees, and feet?
Best to cut off the head, just to be certain.
