We have several south Koreans in our area and they've been here for many years. They are NOT anti-American in any way and neither are their relatives back in Korea.
It's our presence that gave South Korea the means of their stability and wealth. They have good work ethics.
I think the attitude about the US from the South is generational. They, as we do, have a millennial generation that leans very socialist.
