"I see a similarity between the UK Muslim problem and the USA illegal immigrant problem. It was the line that it is, to politicians, all about the voting bloc and not about the people."

The real problem is campaign financing with petro-dollars and cartel-dollars. The politicians serve those that pay them not those they claim to represent. That's what makes the "Deep State Swamp".

Is it beyond the realm of possibility that we have a conclusive connection between:

Grooming gangs.
.....and.....
“Leadership” that obeys its Muslim overlords.

The ‘product’ of the one paying off the groveling of the other?

Anyone heard a single word from those so-called “journalists” that cry endlessly about Trump being a danger to a free press?

The UK just turned into Iran by locking up a reporter and what do they have to say? Crickets from those scumbag frauds!

That’s a funny Spoonerism!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spoonerism
A spoonerism is an error in speech or deliberate play on words in which corresponding consonants, vowels, or morphemes are switched (see metathesis) between two words in a phrase. An example is saying “The Lord is a shoving leopard” instead of “The Lord is a loving shepherd.”

It is shocking beyond imagining. Where Christianity went to die.

The same “Free” Press that constantly lies about Pres. Trump, does whatever they can to hurt him, personally and politically, the same “Free” Press that loves Muslims and Islamic Fundamentalism but HATES Christianity, the same “Free” Press that hates Israel and loves bitter so-called Palestinian terrorists, the same “Free” Press that calls Trump supporters bitter clingers and deplorables, the same “Free” Press that loved the Soviets, Cubans, Red Chinese, North Vietnamese, the Viet Cong and the Nicaraguans. The “Free” Press isn’t free.

The “Free” Press is the Far-Left Press.

And now, almost every story on people who are protesting Tommy’s arrest are using the phrase “Far RIGHT protestors/supporters/followers”.

We need to reply to them when they use the term “Far Right” that we do not support that and they need to stop as it is fake news. They never, ever say “Far Left” even if that term is far more accurate.

Jim, you are one of FR's best posters, and usually provide interesting and correct information, but on this matter your statement is not entirely accurate.

While the term "We the People" is uniquely American, the concept of the whole people as the sovereign is not. In fact, our very own T Jefferson helped write the core foundational document of the French constitution:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Declaration_of_the_Rights_of_the_Man_and_of_the_Citizen_of_1789

France is now - since 1958 - on its 5th republic, but the preamble is still referenced:

https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Constitution_of_the_Fifth_French_Republic_(original_text)

The French people solemnly proclaim their attachment to the Rights of man and to the principles of national sovereignty as defined by the Declaration of 1789, confirmed and completed by the Preamble to the Constitution of 1946. By virtue of these principles and of that of the free determination of peoples, the Republic offers to those Overseas territories which express a desire to accept membership of them new institutions founded on the common ideal of liberty, equality and fraternity and conceived with a view to their democratic evolution.

---

We should all note that the essential claim made by the US, France and other democratic republics, is that government is created solely for the benefit of the governed. When it fails to provide equal protection of civil rights, it is not only the right, but the DUTY, for the people to alter **their** government. The UK is treading in dangerous territory here, because it would be perfectly legitimate for the military and/or people to rise up and overthrow the existing regime that is failing in these duties.

Thanks for your kind words.

The authority of the French Third Republic (and its successors) descends from Napoleon III, and the State, however organized, has limited powers ONLY TO THE EXTENT THAT THE STATE CONSENTS TO LIMIT THEM. The government at Paris believes it has the authority to acceed to the EU, and the plebiscite over ratification of the Lisbon Treaty was a matter of choice.

One of the principal obstacles to structures of global governance is that the People of the United States have not delegated to the government at Washington the power, or authority, to share our sovereignty.

John Fonte has been all over this for years, and in the latest Claremont Review has written extensively about it.

Thanx for the link. I understand the sentiment, but it seems some of these discussions happen in a vacuum, where an opposition theory is constructed just to be debated.

I'm a bit of a francophile, having visited many times and in fact just returned from another pleasant stay in Paris. Not to be antagonistic, but I'd have to disagree with your assertion. For one, Napoleon III engineered the overthrow of the 2nd republic (1852). He then abdicated the 2nd empire upon his capture @ Sedan in 1870, with the 3rd republic being declared the same day:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_Third_Republic

From the US perspective, it may seem like the French state is centralized and powerful, but like our own federal government, it exists primarily in people's minds. That it, it exists and wields power only because people believe it to be so. But the French, even more than Americans, realize it's all a facade, and when conditions change, they change.

Under no situation do I believe the French think in any way that their voice/power is somehow subservient to a central state that acts as it chooses. Many kings, emperors and presidents have come and gone that have attempted to exercise that kind of power. Some narrowly escaped ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/July_Monarchy), but some didn't and literally lost their head (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_XVI_of_France).

England got in on the act first with Charles I, but the mighty US has never yet exercised the political willpower to actually overthrow a tyrant. (Other than our first successful effort vs GB.) We got lucky the electoral system worked with Trump, but it's incumbent upon him to prosecute the attempted overthrow of our constitutional form of government.

After watching this compilation of specific examples, I would categorize the U.K. as probably more oppressive than China. They drag an 85 year old woman across the street because she was standing with a sign to protest fracking; they manhandle a woman who was drinking lemon-lime water in a plastic cup in the street; they arrested a man for having a garden party in his own backyard because on his radio some song mocking Osama Bin Laden was playing. The man said, in his defense, “We were only singing STATE-APPROVED SONGS”. State approved songs? OMG.
