True that. And correlation does not imply causality. Nonetheless, his wife dying surely must weigh heavily on his heart. I can’t imagine life without Mrs. DoodleBob and I’m not a nonagenarian.
I guess he hasn’t recouped from his trip to the NE
he made a few days ago.
“... he has been in the midst of more history than most could ever dream of.”
I, for one, don’t care. I think he’s had a hand in Spygate to some extent. He’s been too cozy with the Clintons for decades — even before Clinton’s presidency.
He and his spawn tried to turn America into Little Mexico, and they’ve had some success.
I wonder when he’ll decide enough is enough. Sounds miserable.
My brother in law’s father died a few days from septic shock..came out of the blue..infection in his stomach, kidney failure, being on a ventilator, and dying, all in a span of 24 hours happened crazy fast :(
that is nice of you to say- alot complain about their wives here. I hope Mrs. DB knows you feel that way!
I venture to guess she really loved Maine (her Maine not us commons folks Maine) and he did his best to get there
That’s very likely.
This isn’t the thread for this. With Memorial Day approaching, let’s choose to honor Bush’s military service to our nation.
It’s often the case when a couple who has been married for a very long time, that when one passes away, the other follows soon. My bad, but I expect it this time, as well. :o[
Better now than when he passes.
Would love to know what kind of health insurance he has.
John Adams and Thomas Jefferson both died on July 4, 1826.
It would be ironic if HWB and McQueeg died on the same day, although McQueeg was just a wannabe POTUS.
Yes, I'm sure him being 93 has nothing to do with it.
That would be a New World Order Trifecta.
TRUMP IS A BLOWHARD, I DONT LIKE HIM AND I VOTED FOR HILLARY, GEORGE BUSH SAYS IN NEW BOOK
I don’t like you anymore either.
Southern Maine Medical Center is in NE or more specifically in Southern Maine near Kennebunkport. I. Do hope they let him go back to Kennebunkport to die. No one wants thier obit to say they died in Biddeford Maine. The local rag had a story on George going to an American Legion pancake breakfast yesterday.

Bush joins fellow veterans for pancake breakfast in Kennebunkport
Back in Maine for the summer, the 41st president attends a gathering at American Legion Post 159.
Former President George H.W. Bush joined fellow veterans at a pancake breakfast Saturday at American Legion Post 159 in Kennebunkport.
The impromptu visit was scheduled after the former president heard members of his staff planned to attend the breakfast and decided he wanted to join, said spokesman Jim McGrath.
He said, Hey, I want to go too, McGrath said. It was very spur of the moment. It being Memorial Day (weekend), having a chance to spend some time with veterans seemed like the thing to do for him.
Bush, 93, arrived at his familys compound at Walkers Point in Kennebunkport last week.
He is thrilled to be here. His family arrived this weekend. He is on cloud nine, McGrath said in a telephone interview Saturday.
Brent Scowcroft, who served as national security adviser when Bush was president, joined the veterans breakfast at the American Legion hall on Main Street. Scowcroft, a close friend of the former president, also owns a home in Kennebunkport.
Bush spent about 45 minutes with veterans from World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan, McGrath said.
. . .
OH, will you people stop with the damn death watch posts. He’s 176 years old, he’s going to have bad days. You sensationalizing ghouls will have your day soon. Save your false hand-wringing concerns & crocodile tears for then. This is not news.
As I said earlier, True that. And correlation does not imply causality. Nonetheless, his wife dying surely must weigh heavily on his heart.
