In a little-noticed interview in April, former Australian diplomat Alexander Downer spoke publicly for the first time about his barroom conversation with President Donald Trump’s campaign adviser that would serve as a catalyst for the FBI’s collusion investigation.
Downer, the former high commissioner to the U.K., said he asked another Australian diplomat to contact the Trump aide, George Papadopoulos, for the meeting, which occurred around May 10, 2016, at London’s Kensington Wine Room.
Over drinks, Papadopoulos mentioned Russians had information on Hillary Clinton that could prove damaging, Downer told The Australian in an April 28 interview.
There was no indication in the short exchange with Papadopoulos that Trump was aware of the damaging information, Downer also said.
“By the way, nothing [Papadopoulos] said in that conversation indicated Trump himself had been conspiring with the Russians to collect information on Hillary Clinton. It was just that this guy, [Papadopoulos], clearly knew that the Russians did have material on Hillary Clinton — but whether Trump knew or not?” Downer explained.
“He didn’t say Trump knew or that Trump was in any way involved in this. He said it was about Russians and Hillary Clinton; it wasn’t about Trump,” Downer told The Australian.

Downer’s encounter with Papadopoulos would later prompt the FBI to open “Crossfire Hurricane” — the counterintelligence investigation into possible coordination between members of Trump’s campaign and the Kremlin.

Therefore any rumors of dirt out there damaging to a Clinton is viewed as damaging to the nation by the government agencies and mainstream media that support them. Dirt on Hillary? We'd better find and punish the Trump campaign worker spreading this dirt! Can we manufacture a conspiracy between Trump and Russia?
On the other hand, any rumored dirt on a challenger to the Clintons is viewed by these same organizations as an opportunity to damage the challenger. The possibility of dirt on Trump? Let's run government spies at Trump and make sure the media gets all the dirt!
And why did he want the meeting? How did he learn of Paps' presence in Dystopian England?

This story clearly shows MULTIPLE AGENT PROVOCATEURS involved in attempts to “set up” the appearance of collusion.
Whenever you hear “spy” or “informer” from the swamp critters, think “Agent Provocateur”.

The article itself, it should be noted, is a giant nothing-burger but describes the quality of the “evidence” that Mueller is going to Court with. I don’t think it will fly with any honest Judge. And yes, there are at least a few of them out there.

Because Downer's friend, Stefan Halper, TOLD Papadopoulos that the Russians had Hillary's emails. After making sure he heard this, Halper calls Downer to let him know the seed has been planted.
That's WHY Downer set up Papadopoulos and got him drunk.

Why did he ask for the meeting?
I want to see pics of the “gorgeous blonde” that got Papadopoulos drunk and then brought over her friend the Aussie.

When exactly did they ask (Date/time)?
How did this person know Downer?
Personal contact, business, or official?
How was the request communicated? In writing? Call? Text? Email? Fax? In person? Candygram?
Did the request come to Downer directly or through someone else? Who?
Did the requestor suggest Downer approach P through an intermediary? If not why did Downer chose the person he did?
Who is the intermediary who contacted P for Downer?
What purpose did he give the intermediary to give P for wanting the meeting? Was P baited with a hint of a paid project or job prospect? Describe the bait. Was the purpose given to P accurate or a false story?
Did P question this reason?
Did the person who asked Downer to meet with Papadopoulos ask D to quiz P about Russian connections, dirt on Hillary, etc.? What were the specific instructions?
Was Downer asked to report the results of his meeting? To whom?
Other than a spy report, what came of the meeting? Was P hired by anyone to perform any sort of project, or spy on anyone?
To whom did Downer report the content of the meeting?
Who else?
The anchor asked him about it and he dissembled every time.
He stated things like “Yes, many in the media reported about it” instead of saying “Yes, we met.”
He’s hiding something.
Actually the "Maltese Professor" Mifsud planted the Russian hacking story with Pap. Even though it was quite likely a leak rather than a hack. When Halper asked Pap about it he denied knowledge of it so Halper sent in one of his cronies Downer to loosen his lips about it.
Mifsud hasn't been seen since last fall but he is part of the conspiracy as is Halper and Downer. And likely a few more of the aged nest of old moles.
The brit press is trying to protect MI6.

All of these vague recollections are inevitably construed as evidence that someone vaguely connected to the Trump campaign once talked to a Russian about something. What that something was, nobody knows, what the content was nobody knows, but it’s proof that we need to keep the investigations open. Meanwhile 20% of our uranium going to the Russians, meanwhile $750,000 speaking fees to Bill Clinton, tens and hundreds of millions of dollars contributed to the Clinton Foundation directly in the face of favors is all happenstance, and means nothing.
