A French tobacconist in the commune of Albi has been handed down a three-month conditional sentence and a 3,000 fine after asking a Muslim woman wearing a chador to remove it from her head to identify herself. Tobacconist Marie P. requested that Muslim Anaïs R. remove the part of the chador covering her head claiming that the shop had a strict policy stating that no one was allowed wear a helmet or a hood in the shop, Le Figaro reports.
Since Im new here, I thought I would do what she asked, Anaïs R. said and added that she explained to the shopkeeper that due to the fact her face was visible she was not in violation of the French law banning the full-face Islamic veil, and that Marie P.s request was against the law.
Anaïs R. then picked up the package she was at the shop to collect and later brought charges of discrimination on the grounds of religion and refusal of a good or service in a public place or to prohibit access, against Marie P. with the aid of the French Collective against Islamophobia in France (CCIF) organisation.
Marie P. was arrested by police a week after the incident and was also brought up on three other charges from three separate women whom she had also told to remove their Islamic headgear.
Earlier this week the Albi court found her guilty of discrimination, handing her a three-month conditional sentence and a 3,000 fine.
The case is yet another conflict between French secular values and the religious practices of Muslims.
In 2016, the conflict made national news in France over the debate surrounding the Islamic sharia-compliant swimwear known as the burkini.

The fact of the matter is that we are totally incompatible and always will be.
We need to face a politically incorrect reality. Homogeneous society equals peace, security, safety and ultimately happiness. Multicultural society equals incompatibility, conflict and unhappiness. The more cultures you add to the mix, the greater the number of people and the further they were previously separated (in culture, time and distance), the worse things become.
A nation can tolerate small numbers without changing its core culture, what it can’t survive is conquest by womb.
Since Im new here, I thought I would do what she asked,
Exactly. Assimilate.
Or go back to the shtthole from whence you came.
Wait a minute. Didn’t France pass a law in 2011 banning face covering in public places, including shops?
French leftists refuse to accept the fact that while the 1791 Declaration of the Rights Of Man and Citizen say we’re all created equal in the eyes of God - Western values define it.
Indeed, that doesn’t mean all values are equal. They can’t be. The values of the Enlightenment aren’t incompatible with Islamic values, period.
And we’re in danger of losing the heritage that gave us our modern freedoms.
Or go back to the shtthole from whence you came.

Why should they do that when theyve made so much progress in turning France into a new shithole? /s
“Anaïs R. then picked up the package she was at the shop to collect and later brought charges of discrimination on the grounds of religion...””
I guess there is no shortage of shakedown artists in France, either.
Does France no have a law about selling tobacco to minors? If so, the employee must be able to see a person’s face to verify if the ID is the same person and that they are of legal age to purchase tobacco.
Thought so, too. But apparently some are more equal than others.
I thought France already banned them?
Who actually rules France now?
If it really was a chador, then her face was visible. It is also more than possible that (1) she is lying about what she wore, or (2) she wore a chador, but wore it to look like a niqab as a setup. These militant activists disgust me, as do traitors who enforce laws like this one as a weapon.
“Who actually rules France now?”
MUSLIMS, DON’T YOU KNOW???
There’s egotism in those universalist Enlightenment formulations about the rights of man because they drastically underplay man’s limitations and fallibility. If we were more in touch with traditionalist wisdom, the radical degree of cultural mixing that we now experience would be less of a thing.
