It takes 66 US senators to find guilt. That ain’t happenin’.

Should office holders be allowed to resign and keep their perks and eligibility because past office holders can’t be impeached? A simple revolving door for corruption?

How do you impeach and remove somebody who has been gone for years...even if you had the votes?

That’s all I was saying.

Waste of time and especially money.

Well if successful you remove his pension, the cost of his SS protection, the subsidy ex-presidents get for an office, staff, etc and any federal subsidy for his library. Would also send an important message!

However not going to happen!

If convicted, he could not hold future office.

It would not happen: moot.

IMO that doesn’t prove he was a foreigner. It just proves that either he lied about being a foreigner to get aid or else he lied about being American to run for President. In either case, he’s a major liar.

I personally believe he is not an American citizen. But I think the actual proof is elsewhere. Or maybe it is a combination of things.

So many lies. Now at last they are starting to unravel.

Obama is no longer the president. Therefore, there is no point in impeachment. He should be prosecuted for treason using the UCMJ. Who he really is needs to be exposed. Who helped him achieve the presidency also needs to be exposed. Hillary also needs to be imprisoned and taken care of using the UCMJ. She committed treason as well.

Trump can go after Odungbag In his second term. These people must be prosecuted so that other politicians know the rule of law will be applied to them. There is no way this republic will survive if these people are not taken down and made to pay for their crimes.

You have obviously never read the Constitution, other wise you would know that a senator's term is six years and one third of them are due for reelection every six years?

I am really amazed that you are so clueless.

Please be advised that I am a naturalized citizen.

Impeachment time has passed.
Jail time is what is needed.

Impeachment means that he wouldn’t be able to ever hold office again. Wouldn’t receive his pension. Would possibly forgoe his lavish lifestyle that we pay for.

Simply put, it would put shackles on the man so he couldn’t harm us again.

If he were impeached for his crimes and then Trump were to pardon him from prosecution, that would destroy his legacy, and show magnanimous generosity from Trump. It would stop the rioting and would destroy the press.

He doesn’t pardon the impeachment. That’s not allowed. He pardons the crimes so he doesn’t swing. Leave Obambi penniless and broken, but alive and unable to ever hold public office again.

If he was impeached. But now that he’s out of office, he cannot be impeached anymore. Therefore, I’ll settle for a perp walk, a conviction and some jail time (I know, I’m dreaming here).

This is paramountly silly.

He’s not longer in office so he CAN’T be impeached.

Am I wrong Auh? Is such a bizarre thing as impeaching a former official allowable and if it is it somehow not pointless? No punishment is attached other than removal from office and optionally barring him from ever holding federal office again, so what preclude him from every being appointed to the Supreme Court? Cause I don’t think he’s interested in that, he wouldn’t be able to make money off Netflix.

Even if it is possible and not pointless, last I checked there were 49 democrats in the Senate and a bunch of RINOs too. Conviction would not occur, period. So the question is would the party gain anything from some show trial? I don’t see what.

If we have evidence he did something illegal, INDICT him and send him to PRISON, no need for nonsense.
