With this new policy, the protestors have been neutered.
Protests will now be confined to the locker room, where they will be out of sight - effectively, invisible to the public. Like when Facebook “mutes” conservatives.
And any player dumb enough to try to protest in public, will be fined, then eventually removed from the team after enough infractions.
This is a way to slowly weed out the protestors legally, or at least make them invisible. No wonder the race-baiters at ESPN are ticked off.
The list is growing of corporations and industries that have gone too far left and have discovered that most Americans are tired of being told how they should think.
The entire newspaper business is slowly dying because of their putting ideology over truth.
More recently Starbucks decided to drink the poison Kool Aid of political correctness rather than back their managers who was following the company’s written policy.
And let us not forget the Boy Scouts being taken over by homosexuals. Do they really think they will get more members? Do they really think middle America will continue to support the “Scouts” and allow their sons to join the organization?
When will this madness end?
Would that the nfl went broke and dissolved. The owners and players are a constant reminder of how LIBs destroy everything they touch. It really is the RML (Reverse Midas League). They deserve obscurity. Those who watch these unpatriotic clowns only contribute to their disrespectful for this nation and what it stands for.
For me it doesn’t matter. I will never again watch anything to do with the NFL. I am a retired veteran and they dedicated on me. I no longer even watch the sports section in news reports.

You want to really penalize them during the game? Give the other coach a pink penalty flag to be used at a time of his choosing at any point in the game.

NFL Players are employees. Plain and simple. And an employer has the absolute right to regulate the behavior of its employees during work hours. They can (and trust me, they will) be the dumbest sticks on the lawn outside of game time and no one is going to take that away from this Socratic bunch. But during the time they are actually working, they need to behave in a way the owners dictate.
Believe me, there’s a lot I’d LIKE to do at work but I’m not allowed to because I am, in fact, AT WORK.
The good news is they will wind up with jobs at the Kwick-EE-Mart after their playing career is over and they are left to what their brains can handle.
Trump swayed NFL owners on anthem rules, Kaepernick case depositions reveal!
The Wall Street Journal obtained depositions from NFL owners, including Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, as part of a grievance case filed by former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
According to Jones’ deposition, reviewed by the Journal, the president personally told him, “You can’t win this one.”
“This is a very winning, strong issue for me,” Trump reportedly said in a call with Jones. “Tell everybody, you can’t win this one. This one lifts me.”
The feud between the White House and the NFL began in September 2017, when during a rally, the president suggested that if a player knelt or refused to stand for the anthem, the owner should “get that son of a b—— off the field.”
Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross reportedly said in his deposition that he thought Trump “changed the dialogue.”
“I was totally supportive of [the players] until Trump made his statement,” Ross reportedly said.
Owner of the Houston Texans Bob McNair said he thought the president’s comments were inappropriate.
But McNair, Ross and Jones all reportedly acknowledged that the protests were financially hurting their teams.
