NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) -- Two people are in critical condition and a shooter is in custody after a shooting inside of Noblesville West Middle School.
Police are reporting that the situation has been contained. Police are on scene and a SWAT team is sweeping the building. The school is on lockdown. Officials are requesting more medical help on the scene.
One victim is a 13-year-old girl. One victim is an adult. Both victims are heading to IU Health Methodist hospital. Families have been notified.
One student told News 8 that he heard several shots fired but did not know if they were fired inside or outside of the building.
A teacher inside of the school said students are being moved to the high school. Some students are being kept in closets and being told that busses will take them to the high school.
A public information officer with Indiana State Police said they are "sending everyone."
"We have two that have been injured that have been taken to Methodist Hospital. I don't have any names. I don't have any updates on their statues," said Captain Dave Bursten with ISP.
The school sent a message to parents stating:
Shots have been reported at Noblesville West Middle School. Reports of one injury. Police are onsite and school is in lockdown. Standby for more info.
They need to see videos of the ones caught being raped by big hairy cell mates
We found out after Columbine that there would never be true answers by Politicians or Administrators to stopping school shootings. The Politicians gain great power from the issue and the Administrations will never spend the money or don’t have it anyway. Most school systems are controlled by Democrats.
They’ve probably seen worse in their “sex education” classes.

Sorry but I have to disagree. Teachers carrying guns and trained how to use them, would be a significant deterrent to any would be shooter. Bank guards carry guns as do numerous other places. Anyone hell bent on going in to a place with the intention of shooting it up would think before selecting a place where armed guards exist.
I attended, in uniform, an all hands Memorial Weekend observance today at a local high school. Respectful, well thought out, well conducted. School choir sang the national anthem beautifully. No problem with these kids and teachers. Nice experience. Respectful kids make for a respectful experience.

No doubt they DO influence would-be shooters, thus giving them their 15 minutes of fame.

The more you talk about IT the more of IT you will have.
Who cares why a shooting takes place. Stop with the we need to find out so there isn’t another. Punishment, death or both need to be swift and consistent. Start with gun free zones. There is no such thing. Second, school teachers and admin have responsibility for school safety. Just how do you play an I’m not responsible card, when by your presence and job, you are. And of course as played out by the Education Union this will all never happen, and the number and frequency of shootings will increase until it all must happen.
Reliving history is a bitch, and apparently creating history through cultural destruction is far far worse.

The only friendly disagreement is (in your words) “quietly pack heat”..... EVERYONE should be made well aware that teachers DO PACK HEAT and will shoot back. Let the potential shooter know ahead of time that he/she WILL FACE real opposition should they decide to start shooting in a school. Hope my explanation does not offend you further.
