Jemele Hill has been selected as the 2018 Journalist of the Year by the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). The annual award recognizes a black journalist who has amassed a distinguished body of work with extraordinary depth, scope and significance to the people of the African Diaspora.
Known for her provocative commentary on whats happening in sports and in the news, Hill is a senior correspondent and columnist for ESPNs The Undefeated. She uses her platform to address national, social and cultural issues, in addition to sports. Hill nearly broke the internet last year when she criticized President Donald Trump. She also, taking up the NABJ spirit of advocacy, addressed athletes rights to take a knee to protest police brutality. She did all this while co-anchoring a groundbreaking rebrand of ESPNs marquee show SportsCenter, or SC6, along with fellow NABJ member Michael Smith.

Who won the NAWJ award? What do you mean, that organization doesn’t exist?
Such a great journalist that she got her own show cancelled?
National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) is a racist organization by definition.
Boy, talk about damning with faint praise!
She called our President a white supremacist, so gets a big award.
Crashing the ratings of left wing corporate media outlets IS deserving of an award.
Correction. Hill receives award for calling President a white supremacist.
The NACJ has snubbed my favorite caucasian journalists one too many times. I’m done with them.
Kind of incestuous.
My dog just dropped his morning load out in the yard. I think I’ll nominate it for this award seeing as how utterly worthless it is now. It is at least as qualified as Ms Hill.
Wow, so deserving.
She da bes’, yo!
FYI all: In Politically Correct speak, violent feral youth, especially of the Amish variety, are said to be “vibrant”. The noun form describing them is VIBRANTS. Jemele Hill is a Vibrant!
Whites should refer to that as “The National Association of Negro Journalists”, or NANJ.

If anyone loves and respects this POS, keep watching ESPN and payong for her each month.
Or, you can cut your cable, save a lot money per month and eliminate ESPN from getting monthly extortion money from your cable or satellite tv provider.
#1. Cut/eliminate your cable or satellite tv provider.
#2. Use Sling Blue as your streaming tv provider. Sling Blue does not carry ESPN, ABC or Disney. So they get zero $’s from your monthly tv payment to Sling.
She has a chip on her shoulder the size of Jupiter. I have met blacks like her in like, YOU OWE ME types! I despise their entitlement attitude. Thrown in with their racist behavior they are insufferable, no redeeming qualities whatsoever. You just want to keep them at a country miles length away from you because they are so toxic and full of hate.
This award is an attempt by this racially pure group to get her another show. Sadly ESPN will cave or some other entity on a self-induce guilt trip and they will give this female black klans woman her own show again to spew her hate. Sad.
Unemployed journalist of the year!!!
