Full title: HUGE!! IG Has NO POWER TO SUBPOENA Former Obama Employees Thats Why Rosenstein Asked Him to Investigate Spying on Trump
On Sunday evening, Justice Department Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein asked Inspector General Horowitz to investigate whether there was impropriety or political motivation into the FBIs infiltration of Trumps campaign.
This came just hours after President Trump demanded a review of whether Obamas Deep State FBI did indeed spy on his campaign.
I hereby demand, and will do so officially tomorrow, that the Department of Justice look into whether or not the FBI/DOJ infiltrated or surveilled the Trump Campaign for Political Purposes and if any such demands or requests were made by people within the Obama Administration!

Either that or we are about to have another tweet storm.

I would rather see a FIRING storm. There are a couple of people in DOJ whose tenure needs to be terminated.
You have no idea what Sessions is doing or not doing, and neither do I. You (and I) only know what has been or not been revealed publicly.
If Trump removes Sessions from the A.G. won’t the Democrats just block any successor appointed by Trump?
Speaking of Sessions and the battle against the Deep State, what happened to the “MOAB” we were promised a few weeks ago?
“MOAB” coming this week”.
An invisible MOAB?
Not only are the democRATS, the RINOs, the Deep Staters, the DC Swamp Critters, the globalist Marxist elites and every other Tom, Dick and Harry liberal against Trump, now you want FReepers who don't like Sessions to be pissed at Trump too?
With all the good Trump has done since coming into office by dismantling Obama's legacy piece by piece and setting the US back on the right path, I don't think he needs to be attacked by his supporters for not doing everything they want, when they want it.
Give the guy a break. Count your blessings Hillary's not president.
I'm certain Trump has a strategy for dealing with Sessions, et. al. There is an end game to this. Let him play it out and see what happens.
President Trump is not ignorant nor complacent. He's had a lot on his plate. We need to give him our full support when he needs someone to watch his back. If not us, who?
Pissed at him? Not just "no" but "hale no". He's the best thing that's happened to this country in decades. Give him time to deal with this in his own way.
There will be no criminal charges since Democrats dont go to jail for assaulting Republicans.

I absolutely agree. The best we can hope for is that the plot and cabal are fully exposed so the American people know what went on and who the conspirators were. Regardless of how bad the crimes are, the media will always defend the Democrats and if necessary, the courts will protect them.
Your point about Sessions is well taken. When he is eventually removed I hope it is swift and without compassion.
Thanks for the thoughtful reply.
Much depends on Huber’s special charter. We don’t know what (all) that entails. It could be narrow, just bird-dog Horowitz’s conclusions, or it could be very broad and in the nature of oversight of many investigations including shenanigans by State, DOJ, FBI, CIA, and WH itself.
At some point all of this will come to a head, as the calls for 2nd SC are persistent, and will grow louder as more and more evidence is disclosed and as the public realizes the limitations of OIG.
The paper trail already exists.
You (and I) only know what has been or not been revealed publicly.

Yes, but we both know what lasting damage is being done to our institutions and respect for our laws. I think we can both agree that the erosion of confidence in our government is reaching a very serious point. Something needs to be done to right the ship before it sinks.
What lead? The IG can’t investigate all those no longer in the DoJ/FBI. I don’t know actually what autonomy he has beyond what the IG reports—but I do know some avid, Trump-supporting attorneys were quite upset about this yesterday.
‘If Trump removes Sessions from the A.G. wont the Democrats just block any successor appointed by Trump?’
They won’t have to. Grassley and a cabal of Permanent Political Class GOP Senators have already vowed to block any and all replacements—along with unleashing hell on Trump for daring to imagine that he had the right to fire one of his own appointees.
Yes, I recognize the problem. But we can’t allow Sessions to hide behind Rosensweasel any longer. They both need to be removed as soon as possible. Perhaps through a recess appointment.
The upcoming release of the IG report will provide an opportune time to remove some people. I think Trump should immediately give an address from the Oval Office summarizing the report and the need for immediate action to restore confidence in the DOJ.
So, when those 2 are gone whose next in line? Another deep stater? Keep firing till you find a suitable replacement? I don’t think that is a good look.
Sessions can't or won't for reasons we can only guess at so President Trump MUST intervene.
The United States citizens have been:________fill in the blank.
Its hard to imagine anyone else in line being WORSE than those two. But I could be wrong.
The IG is investigative and does referrals.
Its hard to imagine anyone else in line being WORSE than those two. But I could be wrong.
Now it is we need to win 2018 before this. Still willing to WAIT?
Would you rahter have 2018 be about the economy or Trump firing Sessions/Rosenstein/Mueller? Shouldn’t be a hard choice given Mueller already has created facts on the ground with guilty pleas. The Dims already have their Trump-Russia-obstruction talking points ready to go. Why give it to them?
There is always way if a judge wants it to happen.
