As opposed to Muslim converts in prison?

Prison Fellowship:

Charles Wendell "Chuck" Colson (October 16, 1931 – April 21, 2012) served as Special Counsel to President Richard Nixon from 1969 to 1973. Once known as President Nixon's "hatchet man," Colson gained notoriety at the height of the Watergate scandal, for being named as one of the Watergate Seven, and pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice for attempting to defame Pentagon Papers defendant Daniel Ellsberg. In 1974, he served seven months in the federal Maxwell Prison in Alabama . . .

Colson became an Evangelical Christian in 1973. His mid-life "conversion" sparked a radical life change that led to the founding of his non-profit ministry Prison Fellowship and, three years later, Prison Fellowship International, to a focus on Christian worldview teaching and training around the world . . .

...because I learned that a lot of Republicans will go to jails and do Bible studies and other things.”

Well, the Republicans will have an opportunity to introduce the teachings of the sacred word to the newly incarcerated Democrats.

The Muslim recruitment in prison is well known - they must be getting their territory treaded on.

It’s really pathetic that he sees this as a bad thing. I didn’t read the article, though. I suppose he wants democrats to go to prisons and have “koran studies”.

Muslims are trying to turn all AAs into muzzies. It is amazing to me that blacks would throw away Christianity - which saw them through slavery and Jim Crow - for a truly gutter religion.

Muslims sell their evil by telling them the lie that Christianity is a “white man’s religion.”

NO GROUP HAS BEEN MORE BRUTAL TO AFRICANS THAN ARABS/MUSLIMS! They forget to tell them that part.

This is good. The muzzie Ellison sees this as a threat to the muzzies who recruit openly in prisons.

A friend of mine interviewed with the State of Maryland for such a position. He’s a contractor who has worked with prison ministries for years. They wanted him to train released prisoners in renovation and building.

But, the pay was far less than he’s making now and he would have to get a Masters Degree within a few years.

He’s been a builder for 20 years but the educational establishment requires an expensive and useless degree.

The fundamentalist muslim does not like the Scripture.

Reading both (correctly) discerns that they are spirit of antichrist.

No surprise on Ellison here.

Know a guy who does just that. Don’t see him often but he was in church last week.

He’s got the right personality for it. Really a gentle soul, deeply committed to the Gospel.

Hey, that would be better than “Copacabana”.

Worked with a girl that had the album. She’d bring it in and put it on during our shift.

Ouch - but I do like “Mandy” I have to admit. LOL

That's the problem. The state is involved.

I was thinking of a model built from a network of local churches, but have no involvement in the finances. True apprenticeships where the former inmates are employees of the teacher/mentor.

I know of a man that was doing it, but he wasn't as effective because he didn't have church support in terms of discipleship.

Exactly.

It is because of Christianity and white Christians that slavery was finally abolished — and the Muslims hate them for it.

I think part of the reason why Islam appeals to some of the blacks is that there is a subconscious longing in these individuals to enslave white people, to put white people on the auction block as payback (never mind that the Muslims enslaved more blacks than the whites ever did but that is beside the point.)
