President Trump's top trade adviser, Peter Navarro, recommended appointing Stefan Halper, an academic and suspected FBI informant on the Trump campaign, to a senior role in the Trump administration, Axios has learned.
Behind the scenes: During the presidential transition Navarro recommended Halper, among other people, for ambassador roles in Asia. A White House official said Halper visited the Eisenhower Executive Office Building last August for a meeting about China.

He’s a Democrat as well.
From the article—sounds like it was actually Halper’s initiative: “Context: During the transition everyone involved in Trump’s presidential campaign were asked to submit resumes for administration positions. Halper, who already knew Navarro in the context of being a China scholar and interviewing for his anti-China book and film, pitched himself for an ambassadorship in Asia, according to a source briefed on their interactions. Navarro says he submitted Halper’s name for the Asian ambassadorship — we have not been able to confirm the country — along with around a dozen other people for roles in the region.”
I do not trust Peter Navarro. He has run for election to multiple offices in San Diego County. He ran for mayor of San Diego. He ran for congress. He ran for San Diego City Council. He lost all of those elections. He ran as a liberal against moderate Republicans. He wasted his mother’s money running all of those campaigns. Also, the guy was a carptet bagger. He did not even live in San Diego County. He lived in Orange County.

Jared Kushner brought Democrat economist Navarro into the Trump circle because he found Navarro on the internet.
Navarro was put on the back burner during recent China negotiations. Maybe Trump is on to him.
I think Navarro is a crank economist, but I don’t believe he is a spy for the Democrats.
He was put on the back burner because every time he opens his moron mouth the stock market goes down 3%
The real story is they tried to get a spy into Trump admin. Which means they probably did.
I want to know if Navarro was duped or complicit.
