Uncle Sham: NASA, and many other agencies, though certainly not all, were originally created to meet national security needs. We went to the moon, and did many other things, not to invent Velcro or cell phones, but to develop the technologies that helped us defeat the USSR with firing a shot, and help us protect our country from threats today. The commercial market does not always have the incentive to invest as necessary for some of these critical technologies. Some criticism of waste is warranted today, as a lot of money gets diverted into areas that really don’t provide return on investment. But in those cases, we need to elect representative who will correct these abuses.

What is your evidence that proves we went to the moon? Is this evidence from the non-trustwothy government? Just because someone shows you a picture or movie of something, it does not prove anything. Prove that their technology of the time was capable of doing what you claim they did back then. The problem is that you can’t because THEY lost or destroyed almost all of the data supposedly gathered from those missions. They claimed Oswald was a lone assassin but here we are fifty five years later where today’s technology has uncovered the truth that the Zapruder film was messed with. You can trust them all you want. I don’t. The founders did not trust government either. I think we should follow their lead.
