U.S. President Donald Trump will meet on Monday with Justice Department and intelligence officials to discuss his order to look into whether his 2016 presidential campaign was infiltrated or surveilled under the Obama administration, a White House official told Reuters. Trump will meet at 3 p.m. (1900 GMT) with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, FBI Director Christopher Wray and Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, the official said.

No IG Mr. Rosenstein. We need someone appointed with investigatory powers, someone who can impanel a grand jury and someone who can get indictments. Since the DOJ and FBI are directly involved and we don’t know where this goes, that means a second special prosecutor needs to be assigned and AG sessions can assign this since this has nothing to do with Russia, Russia, Russia!

This is about spying on US citizens. Sessions needs to get off his rear.
Note that the DAG is the designated DOJ attendee at meetings of the National Security Council and Homeland Security Council, which convene frequently if not daily.
It’s probably a regularly scheduled meeting with an extra agenda item or two.
