The Senate Intel Committee is part of the cover-up. Burr and other RINOs hate Trump. The Committee adopted the Dem talking points that Putin was trying to help Trump win, which is disputed by the House Intel Committee headed by Nunes.

Burr is weak and ineffectual. He often defers to Warner. He subscribes to the go-along to get along school. The Senate Intel Committee is the weak reed compared to the House Intel Committee and the Senate and House Judiciary committees.

No doubt, but I heard about it and they replayed it out here and he was very good. It is too bad he had to destroy his career before he got it, but some are just more hard headed than others.

His most interesting comment was, if the media can drive me to Trump who else are they driving to him? Their unending hate is making Trump a sympathetic character who even his worst haters are turning.

We dodged that cannonball. How did she think she could withstand the rigors of the Presidency?

I saw Burr speak before a small group a few years ago and wondered how that guy got nominated in North Carolina. He came across as a sleazy used car dealer on a very small lot. Does that creep Mark Warner have something on him bc Burr allows Warner to ride roughshod over his Committee.

I can’t begin to tell you how much I despise Chuck Todd for his biased questions. Roger was much more patient than I would have been.

Folks, the most explosive interview today is Maria Bartomarlo’s live interview with Chairman Nunes. It is simply must-see TV.

Nunes stated that the NYT expose’timing was intended to entrap him and Gowdy. Both at the last minute canceled a meeting with the DOJ because the DOJ informed them that they would not provide documents as promised, but would brief them. Had they attended Friday’s meeting, the blame for outing Halperin would have been put squarely on them which would have at a minimum sidelined their investigation. He is pissed!

So much more as well. Explosive stuff!

-- Senator Mark Warner was a participant in the execution of the "insurance policy" trying to remove President Trump via the Russian Collusion narrative. --

Minor correction, "was" should be "is." The scheme is very much alive.

Great post laying out Warner's role. The whole Senate is in on it. Can a government institution perpetrate sedition? Bit of a logical conundrum, but the biggest threat to the US constitution is the US government, supported by its lackies in the press.

Just where is the purported Republican chair of the Senate Intel Committee, Burr of NC? I have not heard a peep of protest from him; Warner acts like its His committee and he’s in the minority. You’d never know it.

I noticed that too. Burr is blatantly aiding and abetting the Mueller Coup. These arrogant clowns have no idea how close they are too destroying the GOP.

Maria's Sunday show is the best Sunday Morning Show of them all. She's a great interviewer and she cuts through the BS.

They were being set up by Rosenstein and/or Wray. How pathetic of Sleepy Sessions to allow this on his watch. Just pathetic beyond words.

Just infuriating.

Although he didn’t say so in this interview, I expect Nunes to move on a contempt resolution this week.

A London Meeting Before The Election Aroused George Papadopoulos's Suspicions
Daily Caller - Chuck Ross - March 25, 2018

Two months before the 2016 election, George Papadopoulos received a strange request for a meeting in London, one of several the young Trump adviser would be offered aEUR" and he would accept aEUR" during the presidential campaign.

The meeting request, which has not been reported until now, came from Stefan Halper, a foreign policy expert and Cambridge professor with connections to the CIA and its British counterpart, MI6.

Halper's September 2016 outreach to Papadopoulos wasn't his only contact with Trump campaign members. The 73-year-old professor, a veteran of three Republican administrations, met with two other campaign advisers, The Daily Caller News Foundation learned. ...

The scheme is ongoing.

The current argument is back to the one used to fight telling the public what was in the Nunes memo - giving the people the evidence (so the people can be INFORMED and make up their own mind) is a threat to national security.

Trump is a threat to the political establishment on both sides of the aisle. He is the ultimate outsider who is beholding to no one except the people who elected him. Trump had money and power before entering politics.

The Establishment must destroy him to discourage anyone else in similar circumstances to follow his lead. The Swamp is being revealed as never before. Trump is fighting virtually alone to hold them accountable. It is a titanic struggle playing out before our eyes. The outcome is still in doubt.

Here’s the key part, IMO. He sought out the Trump campaign. That’s a spy. Not an “informant.”
