He also has the most laughable come-over of 2018.

The MSM is echoing the Brennan/Comey/Clapper meme contained in the NYT stories. The idea that it was not directed against Trump and was just for his protection is laughable. If that were the case, they should have warned him from the very outset.

And moreover, they used it to get rid of him--to sic a special counsel on him and try to remove him from office on (no pun intended) trumped up charges.

It is no less than a failed coup attempt. The PEOPLE elected Donald Trump as president. The Electoral College, as proscribed in the Constitution, confirmed it. No spy, no government bureaucrat, no administration official has a RIGHT to do defy the PEOPLE'S VOTE.

Only Congress can remove an elected president.

Per usual, what changed Glenn Beck’s mind was a change in his perception as to what is good for him.

The stuff Trump is bringing up this morning is on FISA abuse and framing Trump with falsehood. That is not part of the exonerate Hillary angle. Horowitz picked that FISA-abuse angle (which covers much more than FISA abuse) a few months ago. There is a press release on that.

Yup. The unmaskings, FISA abuse, etc. are the much bigger shoes to drop. They go to the heart of weaponizing the Intel Community to go after the political opposition. This is the scandal that dwarfs Watergate. It is a political coup d'état orchestrated and choreographed by the Obama WH.

Sorry, I don’t take former Obama appointee Huber seriously. The proof is in the pudding. Mueller had no problem dropping numerous indictments ASAP. Huber has been “investigating” since last fall. It’s all CYA kabuki.

The shoe will never drop because the GOP is just fine with what was done to Trump. Had it been Yeb or another mainline Republican they might do something about it.

Think the correct count for school shootings this year is 7 as per FNC.

Seven too many but definately NOT 22, heaven knows where they got that number.

In the military, the Inspector Generals are strongly educated in the privileges of Command, and will not cross that.

They are meticulous about following the letter and spirit of the law and regulations, and do not counter a commander without plenty of due process and thorough, scrupulous investigation.

However, if a commander commits an illegal order, act or any other infraction, the IG MUST act on it, as there is an appeal process that will involve the chain of command upward.

There are a lot of barracks lawyers (people who think they know it all) who think the IG is there either to persecute the commanders, or do their bidding like toadies, but that is not the case.

It would be interesting if all these school shootings destroyed the public school system, ie scared parents enough to look at alternatives...just a wild thought that went thru my head...

Unintended consequences and all...

I assume you meant prescribed vice proscribed.

Yes, a system that indoctrinates and dumps down the young is a precursor to tyranny.

I have posted a few comments on this before.

I love the life of quotes. I have seen this several dozen different ways, some to praise the Jesuits and others to condemn them. Most authors use the word "alleged" when attributing the quote to the Jesuits or one of their members -- St. Ignatius of Loyola, the found of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) or St. Francis Xavier, first missionary to India who assisted Ignatius in the formation of the Jesuits.

My own personal recollection from when I was 8/9 or 10 years old going to school in communist Czechoslovakia - Many posters and indoctrinations / stories of the good child who turned in his parents to the police because the parents dared to have thoughts publicly spoken, negative to the communist orthodoxy of the day.

I do have an issue with the current Pope - and yes he is a commie redistributionist just like Jessy Jackson and his ilk

I guess I’m an eternal optimist and thought that this just may be the one time that the IG would be so outraged by what he is finding that his bias for the institutions would be overridden.

Guess time will tell, we will know SOON or not. LOL

Sorry, I don’t take former Obama appointee Huber seriously.

I am sure that McCabe, Comey Hillary, et. al., take him as seriously as a heart attack. Calling him an Obama appointee doesn't diminish his duties. He is a career employee. In case you didn't know, the President at the time nominates many career employees for advancement. It has nothing to do with their political leanings. These are Schedule C jobs that require Senate approval.

Huber, who has served in both Democratic and Republican administrations as a career prosecutor, nearly had his tenure as US attorney cut short last year. In March 2017, shortly after he took charge of the Justice Department, Sessions asked for the resignations of 46 US attorneys who were previous administration holdovers.

Originally appointed by President Barack Obama in 2015, Huber offered his resignation, leaving his fate in the hands of the DOJ.

But President Donald Trump re-nominated Huber in June 2017, and two months later Huber was back at his former post, confirmed by the US Senate for an additional four years.

Huber graduated with honors from the University of Utah in 1989. He received his J.D. from the University of Utah College of Law in 1995. Huber began his career in the Weber County, Utah Attorney's Office, later serving as the chief prosecutor for West Valley City, Utah. In 2002, he joined the U.S. Attorney's Office, and in 2005 he became an Assistant United States Attorney. He has prosecuted firearms crimes, including the case of four people involved with firearms used in the 2007 Trolley Square shooting.

Huber was appointed by U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions to investigate the FBI's surveillance of Carter Page and connections between the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One, starting in November 2017

-- ... weaponizing the Intel Community to go after the political opposition. --

It is an international effort, enabled with a cooperating press. without the press cooperation, the effort amounts to squat.

What hasn't sunk in to many people is that this effort is not just a few bad eggs in DOJ/CIA/FBI. This is an institutional rebellion against the will and interests of the people of the United States, and includes Congress and the Courts.

Whether it is the military or civilian agencies, the IGs are comprised almost entirely of members of that agency or branch. I am not casting aspersions on IGs, just noting that they cannot investigate their own institutions with full objectivity. It is an inherent bias.

Yup he outsmarted himself when he let Romney get to the right of him on the most important issue to conservative middle class voters (and more then a few moderate D’s). Romney was most likely lying but cut off the benefits and “let them self deport” worked for me. I still think that is a good idea.

It is an unconscious bias. I expect the IG report to be highly critical of the FBI and DOJ leadership in their investigation of the Hillary email case. I expect some criminal referrals to result if they haven't already. I am just trying to tamp down expectations of the IG findings.

It should also be noted that the draft of the IG report is sent around to the various principals for comment. I understand that Comey received a copy.

Comey, what happened to Comey?

Might explain why he has been so quiet.

Book not selling well at the moment either from what I heard, everyone has theirs for the bottom of the bird cage.
