There’s a new face on the age-old gun debate: our students, and they won’t be silenced. They are demanding that the adults in power keep them safe and they will not stand by and allow elected officials to fail them any longer.

we need to restore firearms training and shooting sports to our high schools!
(and do away with any and all “no gun zone” and other infringements on our right to keep and bear arms, especially carrying them at schools!)

I agree. Time to make guns mandatory so everyone has one. We already know the bad guys who aren’t supposed to have them - have them.
Make the entire country a constitutional carry nation so anyone can carry concealed everywhere.

The average age of the “student march” on Washington was 49 and less than 10% were 18 or under. The NEA is lying about this again, the adults are playing we are the teacher follow us while you get to play hookey. The NEA has a political agenda and student safety is not the prime goal. You cannot make a place safe by applying laws to other places and people. If you take peoples guns away, do you also take responsibity for the disarmed that cannot defend themselves?
Sophistry. Teachers. Schools, who have no tolerance policies and apply them inappropriately. Why would anyone trust their judgement if their own house is not in order?
