The populist AfD party announced on Friday that it filed a complaint against Merkel for her 2015 decision on migration. According to the party, Merkel should have consulted the German parliament on such a crucial issue.
During the migration debate in August 2015, Merkel spoke the words Wir schaffen das (We can manage this) to signal the country was ready to deal with the refugees that would be coming to Germany.
With Germany suspending the Dublin Regulation as well, it motivated millions of refugees and migrants to come to Europe. Germanys Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) has made 1.65 million asylum decisions between January 2015 and March 2018.
The AfD said the complaint is focused on the September 2015 decision to keep the border between Austria and Germany open. The lawsuit needs to expose the tyranny of the unjust, the party says.
The court still needs to make the decision whether the complaint can result in a formal lawsuit.

She and the other champions of autogenocide and ethnic cleansing should be hanged.
Thought you might be interested.
Probably should take her to be hanged.
How many have been harmed by her liberal NWO agenda?
I agree - willingly brought crime, displacement, assault, rape and probably murder on Germany’s citizens.
imprisoning the Ruling Elite TRAITORS that are controlling the German, French, Belgian,British, Italian, Greek, Swedish governments...selling out their countries to the IslamoNazi invasion....
imprisoning the traitors is necessary before reversing the damage by repatriating the invaders back to their own Muslim sheethole countries ASAP! Like, Yesterday!
otherwise, most of Europe is Lost, Gone, Finish, Kaput.
She let the savages in, at bammy’s prompting. She is responsible for the rapes, murders, and theft of money.
Taking Merkel to court? The German people should be marching her to the guillotine.
Too bad its too late. Just like Sweden.
The AfD is in the Parliament with its two “wings” representing different generations and even different kinds of sexuality with common goals.
The migration-immigration mess is at the top of the agenda and Merkel wants to sidestep the criticism.
She ignored an AfD leader’s speech in the Parliament the other day deliberately.
It’s an episode that will get thrown out, but the judges will spend a month or two reviewing it. There’s nothing in German law or the Basic Law (the constitution) that says the Chancellor is responsible for the border.
But by having the court throw this out....the AfD can say the court supports Merkel, and they need to be relieved of their job.
Bigger court issue is EU dragging Germany into some accusation of not resolving the diesel particle crisis. They are aiming at massive fines (might add up to a billion Euro). No one wants to proceed with the banning of cars, and they are hesitant to select the filtering system (mostly over cost I think, 3k Euro per vehicle).
This coalition is cooling off...I saw a rumor story this week saying it’d collapse intentionally at the end of 2019, and some new election by May/June of 2020.
