Trump needs to issue an Executive Order requiring all public schools by the start of the new school year to secure their buildings. This should include metal detectors and x-ray scanners at main entrances, locked down and surveilled non-main entrances, and uniformed Federal or police officers at every school during school hours. The funds to do this should come from our Federal coffers. I’m sure we have enough wasted money in the system to use for this.
The schools would need to adjust their schedules to allow for the added time students will need to enter the schools.

this isn’t a school safety issue this is a parent’s and adults in a childs life teach your kids right from wrong issue, teach your kids how to handle their problems and monitor your kids issue, teach your kids they are not the center of the universe issue. Parents and guardians need to take their responsibilities seriously and do their part, not expect govt to handle parental tasks like discipline their kids or worse coddle them as many parents and guardians are doing and creating a bigger mess of kids.
