The Santa Fe High School shooter who killed between eight and ten people has been named as student Dimitrios ‘Dimitri’ Pagourtzis. Pagourtzis, 17, shared chilling photos on his – now removed – Facebook of a ‘Born to Kill’ t-shirt shortly before Friday morning’s massacre.

The page also appeared to display a photo of the black trench coat work by Pagourtzis during the massacre. It was adorned with various trinkets, which he explained below. A note on the Santa Fe Indians football team’s website hailed his ‘huge role’ in a game last October. Pargourtiz also said on the Facebook page that he was planning on joining the military in 2019, but a spokesman said there was no record of him on their files.
After the massacre, police rushed to the trailer park were Pagourtzis lived amid reports it had been booby-trapped with explosives. He is said to have used improvised explosive devices and pipe bombs during the slaughter.
You can’t deny that SHTF starting in the ‘60s, with thousands of hippies following along willingly the few anti-American commies that took hold in the US before - yes, they were “only” 15 but that is the precipice of adulthood. The hippies were indeed the watershed piece of a generation that ultimately were the henchmen to ruin everything. The poison spread far then and their influence has been SUPER strong since. Look at that damn peace sign - it’s everywhere even on that damn killer. And every opportunity they get (TV shows, movies, etc) the hippies pat themselves on the back and exort how wonderful they all are/were. It’s disgusting and yes, they are the gen that REALLY started it all by running en mass with any stupidity and treason that came up prior. So now, it is the “norm”.
So the father fixes , cleans and repairs ships....good business I imagine.

Everything I’ve seen so far indicates absent parenting. It’s really time to step up and start holding parents responsible at some level for their kid’s actions. This kind of behavior doesn’t happen in a vacuum. The kid was building a bomb for God’s sake! He was posting crap on his Facebook page that the parents should have known about. Damn man! Where the hell were they???

In November 2014, Pagourtzis’ was a dancer at the Galveston Greek Festival with family members, according to a post on the group’s Facebook page. As a dancer, Pagourtzis’ photo was also shown on the website for the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, a Greek Orthodox Church in Galveston, Texas.
My prediction:
A new Federal Gun Control Bill be Passed that prohibits the Private Transfer of Firearms without a Background Check, raises the Age to Purchase ANY Firearm to 21, prohibits the Sale and Possession of Bump Stocks or any other device that mimics Automatic Weapons and prohibits the Sale and Possession of so called High Capacity Magazines (the number of Rounds allowed to be determined, somewhere between 10 and 30 is my guess).
POTUS Trump will sign the Legislation when it reaches hos Desk, simply because he agrees or because his Veto will be overturned if he doesn’t.
I could be wrong, but the rampant Ignorance of the Populous will make this kind of Legislation inevitable.

Our high schools are far too big
Unfortunately, the trend over the last several decades has been to consolidate districts and create ever larger schools. The advantage is, of course, to make more available to h.s. students. In today’s world, with internet available, it seems to me that a small school could offer many on-line courses and still treat the students as people rather than numbers.
Why not consider ALL countermeasures that would protect the children?
Trump needs to issue an Executive Order requiring all public schools by the start of the new school year to secure their buildings. This should include metal detectors and x-ray scanners at main entrances, locked down and surveilled non-main entrances, and uniformed Federal or police officers at every school during school hours. The funds to do this should come from our Federal coffers. I’m sure we have enough wasted money in the system to use for this.
The schools would need to adjust their schedules to allow for the added time students will need to enter the schools.
I’d love to see the Democrats fight this order. IT NEEDS TO BE GIVEN IMMEDIATELY!

Well, back in Ye-Olde-Days us kids used to deal with the self-absorbed anti-social boys ourselves. If there was any inkling of their hostility directed towards us or people we liked we would directly confront them on it. It was a clear warning. If/when they didn’t stand down it would progress from there usually culminating in ass-kicking and beat downs until the issue was resolved.
Schools rejected boy norms and values and now they have psychos all over.
I blame Zero Tolerance and Gun Free Zones for this. The schools nurture and protect psychopathy and deviance. It’s what they teach after all.

Yep...that was likely when people valued the dollars they earned for the work they did. People today have an overinflated opinion of their work and value of.

First off, 1400 per witness is not real huge. That’s about 350 per grade.
Second, my county has FAR too many schools of each level - they keep taking more land and building more buildings why? Because long ago, when communist Kolumbia (you’ll read it’s one of the best places to live in the US, ha ha) started, the powers decided “small schools best” and actually capped how many students could be assigned. Namby-pambies back in the day (when all this crap started - yes, the ‘60s again) second-guessed decades of history and decided it was nicer with smaller schools.
Meanwhile, my mother (a teacher who TAUGHT through these schools) grew up in Baltimore with HUGE schools, even in the ‘40s, even for young children. They had zero problems. That was in the old days, when common sense ruled.
It is NOT about school size.
It’s about character.
I remember having an intuition when I ws a little girl that my grandfather - a “pillar of the community, extremely successful business man”, had secrets.
I have always been very sensitive to reading others. I didn’t know what these secrets were, but they seemed “dark” to me.
My mother was shocked and angry that I could even think such a thing. I was punished.
I find this sensitivity very uncomfortable, and tend to avoid certain people who set it off.

Completely agree. Society has changed, and in some cases not for the better, since the days of kids taking guns to school to participate in gun club activities, etc.
