At least eight people have been killed in a Texas high school shooting Friday, FOX 26 reported. The suspected shooter was taken into custody and the active shooter situation was said to be over.
Police officers responded to Santa Fe High School around 8 a.m. CDT after reports that a shooter opened fire inside. The gunman appears to be a student, KTRK reports, citing a law enforcement official. Further details of the incident were not immediately available.

I was listening to the local broadcast. The general message of the newscasters was "we have to do something".
Nothing the Left has proposed would have stopped this tragedy from happening.

Yep. We’re getting to the point soon where gun bans are going to happen by referendum. You can bet that every minivan-driving soccer mom will vote for them.

And that something is banning guns, because it’s what the Left wants in a country where they control 50% of the population. The only thing left will be the balkanization of America into gun and no gun areas.

The movement that led to Texas passing a CHL law was driven by a mass shooting at a Luby's Cafeteria in Killeen, TX in 1991. They happen anywhere.
