A Democratic mayor from Pennsylvania has resigned nearly a month after he was arrested for allegedly soliciting a woman for sex — a woman who turned out to be a police informant.
Bloomsburg Mayor Eric Bower, 36, initially claimed the accusations were made up because of his “political position.”
He was arrested on April 20 after investigators said he showed up at a Hampton Inn with condoms and $200 in cash. According to the attorney general’s office, the woman, whom Bower solicited for sex that day, was “a Pennsylvania State Police confidential informant.”

I don't get this. So, she isn't a policeperson, but she is a "confidential informant"? Like she solicits sex, and then turns the john in? Or maybe only if it's not enough money? (I have no idea, is $200 for sex a lot of money, or the market rate, or what?)

A Pennsylvania man who admitted having sex with 10 horses and a cow must spend a weekend in jail after having his probation revoked because he told a counselor he’d done it again.
Man was already on probation for having sex with the animals, when he admitted to doing it again.
The Press Enterprise of Bloomsburg reports Ganter was charged after having sex with the animals and filming some of the activity at a farm in Main Township.
Probation officials say Ganter was otherwise a model of good behavior, paying fines and meeting his probation officer as scheduled.

"Confidential Informant" = criminal who agrees to help police arrest other criminals, in exchange for leniency/immunity for her own criminal acts.
Which customers got arrested versus which didn't? My guess is that, since being convicted of soliciting a prostitute in PA carries fines of up to $10,000, a customer with the assets to quietly plea bargain to pay up as long as there's no jail time would be the most lucrative arrest for the system.
