Police confirm reports of active shooter at Santa Fe High School

SANTA FE, Texas - A spokesman for police confirmed Friday that they are investigating an active-shooter situation at Santa Fe High School.
It was not immediately clear if anyone was injured.
KPRC2 has crews headed to the scene.

Perp was former student (about sophomore level). When he attended school, he wore the trenchcoat every day.

2nd investigative scene — Galvaston. Explosive devices seem to be found instide a trailer home. State troopers and LEO on scene. Not sure whether/how this may be related to SF HS shooting.

Sheriff is saying 8-10 killed, police officer wounded, and a room-to-room search is being conducted....word of explosives found. No word on number of wounded, other than the officer.
Details are changing, as they usually are in these incidents.
One student in custody, another detained as person of interest.

Student witness who called one of the TV stations said the sub pulled to alarm to a get everyone out of the buildings and alert everyone that something was going on.
[Whether that was the right thing or whether cover-in-place will likely be debated by experts. Which would save more lives?]

It’s nearly June. You can use a coat to conceal a shotgun with a 30 round mag I guess, but wouldn’t you see that coming?
