It looks very Islamic, which I’m sure was intentional.
But aside from that, what we have here is the “do you know who I am?”scenario playing out. And these poor Chicago fools didn’t realize from the very start that, for all his life, everything was all about Obama? What would benefit him, promote him, require the least amount of effort...and to heck with the rest of the world.
Chicago was just where he went to establish his black leftist creds, and one of the ways he did it was by marrying the lovely Michelle, daughter of the local black Dem party boss. Everything has always been about Barry and his career since the very beginning. And I think some black Chicagoans are just beginning to realize it.
The election of Harold Washington as Chicago’s mayor attracted the opportunist’s attention. Obama was also very much aware of the fact that the 1st Congressional District had repeatedly had black representatives for over seventy-five years. Initially, his goal was to obtain a Congressional sinecure, but his first campaign for Congress resulted in a loss (US Representative Bobby Rush called him an “educated fool”). Obama wound up stumbling into the US Senate and bumbling into the presidency.
