Counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway has been vocal in denouncing White House leakers over the past few days following the controversy over the comments made by aide Kelly Sadler about Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) in a closed-door meeting.
Conway has told Martha MacCallum that she expects the leaks will result in personnel changes. And now, Conway says shes getting close to identifying those responsible.
Thursday on the Fox & Friends morning program, guest host Abby Huntsman asked Conway if shes pinpointed the leakers.
Somewhat, yes, Conway said.
The White House counselor went on to say that some higher-ups are involved.
Theyre not all in the press and comms shop, Conway said of the leakers. And theyre not all junior folks. I mean, lets be very honest here. Hundreds and hundreds of people work on this complex. A lot of people have access to sensitive information.
Conway went on to suggest that this White House is about to become a lot more secretive.
I think smaller, tighter meetings are always a better idea, Conway said. Youre just telling people on need-to-know basis.

Good, Kellyanne isn’t messing around. Go get ‘em.
This has been going on for a long time. Why didn’t they take care of this a year ago?
Journalists used to be more professional and did not report, as news, ridiculous things like the dead-McCain comment. They used to actually report news, not gossip.
And, it was considered poor journalism to have unnamed sources because it meant the reporter wasn't good enough to get them on record.
Is it just the decline of journalism because women have joined up and men are fleeing?
It takes time to hire hundreds of people and then figure out who to let go all while accomplishing so much. We're only month 17 - they'll have this thing purring in no time.

...
I don’t think secretive is the right word.
Love it. Make them sweat.
Now they watch for the nervous people and look at them real close! Or those that suddenly don’t show up for work.
Put the squeeze on them.
Give ‘em the Big Boot!
Is her hubby the leaker?
That's what I was going to say - I hope she isn't telling her husband anything, because he is a big (in more ways than one) Anti-Trump scumbag.
How many of the leakers are FBI plants?
Hopefully Kellyanne doesn’t share anything with her big mouthed husband.
Also, why not take advantage of them and selectively leak disinfo to mess with the MSM until you’re ready to “clean house?”
Go Trump - MAGA
Go Melania aka Lady MAGA

Yup! It would makes sense, right?
No SH*T !
There were three "leaks," for example, that came out in March 2018 about Putin's election victory in Russia. The stories were:
1. Trump called to congratulate Putin.
2. Trump did this even though he was advised by someone in his administration NOT to call him.
3. Trump went ballistic when #2 was leaked to the media.
These all came out in rapid succession. Other than #1, I'm not sure any of them are even true. But it's probably no coincidence that H.R. McMaster "resigned" on the SAME DAY that the media was reporting on #3.
What, donna, surely you aren't implying that women can't do a good or better job at journalism than men?
I'd say it is because the MEN are weeny, whiny snowflakes.
Just look at Acosta, Lemon, Cuomo, Joe the Smoe.
I rest my case.
“Also, why not take advantage of them and selectively leak disinfo to mess with the MSM until youre ready to clean house?
That has been done on a random to regular basis for at least a year now.
What the heck took so long ?
