I have significantly more respect for Chuck Schumer. At least he HELPS his side accomplish their goals. There is nothing, literally, nothing positive about having this useless, geriatric tool in the position of Attorney General. He only gets away with his disloyalty because the Senate won’t tolerate his being fired.
His behavior - or should I say non-behavior - insults both our President and us. President Trump has publicly told him, repeatedly, to get off his useless ass and he simply won’t - so he’s either utterly inept or utterly corrupt, I have no idea which. I do know he has no honor, since any honorable person would have resigned ages ago in the face of such Presidential disapproval.
He is directly responsible for all of this “Russia, Russia, Russia!” crap Trump’s had to put up with for the past year or so, and so directly responsible for putting the dampers on making America great again and thereby damaging our country. I understand Trump’s loyalty in appointing him because Sessions was there for him on the campaign trail - but I suspect that he was all a deep state plant all along, because nothing about Sessions behavior since has shown me he has even a SPECK of loyalty or honor about him.
I will have a one-man party the day Trump finally has enough and sends him packing.

At FR, it is the conventional wisdom that Sessions is a dope, compromised, Deep State, no good, kaput, a washed up hack, etc.
Then others contend that because Trump keeps him in, then Trump is a dope, compromised, etc.
All of you could not be more wrong.
You see the monumental corruption of the FBI and DOJ that was in place when Sessions came to office.
Do you think Sessions had to reveal this corruption before any indictments could be unsealed or prosecutions take place?
If the justice system and its leaders are corrupt, pray tell who is going to proceed with trials against their own?
Sessions installed Huber with a grand jury in Utah. Sessions installed an office in Little Rock, also with an empanelled grand jury.
All investigating the Clintons, the Foundation, the emails, etc.
All on-going while almost everyone here is bashing Sessions as Mr. Magoo.
No one sees the elaborate charade Trump and Sessions and other white hats have concocted to give strategic cover to these operations and the 29,000 sealed indictments now in the Federal PACER system.
Trump and Sessions get exactly ONE bite at this apple and it has to be done right.
Look how many people at the FBI and DOJ have been exposed or fired. And we have not even got to the State Dept. and the CIA.
Look at we have now seen how even Judge Contreras was corrupt. As well as the FISA court and the FISA warrant process.
Look at all the leaks and leakers.
Ever wonder why the White House underwent a “renovation of the HVAC system last spring? To get rid of all the bugs.
Let’s say you are Sessions and Trump and you know how deeply everyone around you is compromised and involved.
How do you drain the swamp to even allow justice to occur?
You have to clean house first where the justice is dispensed, then true justice can be initiated.
And that is what is about to happen.
Take potshots at Mr. Magoo all you want.
What Trump and Sessions have accomplished has never occurred in American history, and both will be vindicated totally.
They have laid the traps and extended the rope for the guilty to hang themselves with.

The results speak for themselves and we’ve seen NO results. That “they’re working undercover!” mindset works for maybe, I don’t know, six months. But a YEAR AND A HALF into Trump’s Presidency and we’re STILL supposed to believe in the “well, I’m setting up a committee to investigate the possibility of examining some possible wrongdoing” BS.
It’s just words. They mean nothing.
Hillary is still free, spouting garbage to keep the country separated.
Most of the people responsible for the soft coup are still at it, with no one even bothering to challenge them on it (except maybe Trump, and even then he’s not doing anything about it).
