Lyme disease spread because the cowards in CT decided to kill all the local rattlesnakes.
Their main prey, the white footed mouse, primary vector of Deer Ticks, utterly *flourished*.
And Lyme went wild.
God knew what He was doing when he created snakes.
I don’t care. The chances are getting Lyme Disease are very small compared to the chances of suffering an encounter with a snake. Especially in the South.
I’ll admit I have an incredible phobia of those awful creatures but I can’t help it.
