Meghan Markle pleaded with her father to walk her down the aisle after he apparently pulled out of Saturday's wedding because of the faked photographs row.
Friends said the bride-to-be was distraught after troubled Thomas Markle, 73, said he wanted to save her further embarrassment, following reports that he colluded with a paparazzi photographer to stage a series of pictures in the run-up to the wedding.

Some are giving the Bride a hard time, saying all this fuss ‘proves’ that she is not worthy of joining the Royal Family. They have been stalking her dad in Mexico, taking pictures.
We in the states forget how big a deal this still is for the English, even those who would prefer to do away with the Crown.
Someone needs to stick Cheddar-man back in the hole. This marriage is already a disaster and it hasn’t even started yet.
Once I noticed that Prince Harry had invited ex-POTUS, Barack Hussein Obama & his wife Michelle Obama to his wedding.....I tuned the whole upcoming episode out. I will not watch one second of this “Royal” farce!!!

Far more impressed when Grace Kelly’s son got married and they had free Eagles concert tickets for every citizen in Monaco. (not that I’m a big Eagles fan, but still...!)

I think her dad should give her away. Lots of families have problems. Lots of U.K. royal families have had problems too. Pride goeth before the fall ———She only has one father and she wants him there. That should be that, imho And if the royals don’t want it then they’re not good enough to be marrying into her family

I won’t begin to get into family drama... but I will say this...
Does she want him there because she wants him there, or because it makes her look bad if he’s not?
Personally don’t care one bit about this whole thing, but I will say I do hear this line in my head every time this topic comes up....

Ha! I’m not interested either except nobody is born trash. Each person is born in God’s image - with freewill to please his/her Creator by returning His love to Him by obeying His law, and by sharing His love with His other children ——- not trash at all, but an exceptionally noble calling. But I get your point, thanks. Who can know the heart of another? I can only assume she wants her Father at her wedding because he’s her father. Best. I can do with a situation so far removed from my life, ha!
