Thousands in Istanbul join pro-Palestine march (no doubt promoted by Erdogan)

Thousands have gathered in central Istanbul to protest the United States’ embassy move from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and recognise the city as Israel’s capital, and the massacre of Palestinians that followed.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has been among the strongest critics of U.S. President Donald Trump's decision after he announced the embassy move last December.

An Extraordinary Session of the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC)’s Islamic Summit Conference was swiftly brought together under Erdoğan’s leadership to respond to the announcement, rejecting and condemning “in the strongest terms the unilateral decison by the President of the United States of America recognizing Al-Quds(Jerusalem) as the so-called capital of Israel.”

On Monday, as U.S. & Israeli officials gathered at the opening ceremony for the new embassy, Israeli soldiers killed at least 52 protesting Palestinians. Meanwhile, protesters gathered in cities around the world at pro-Palestinian marches, demonstrations.

The embassy move was also a main topic in comments by Erdoğan during his visit to the UK, where on Monday he said the decision ruled the United States out as a mediator in the Middle East and contributed to a world atmosphere “reminiscent of the years leading up to world war II.”

Hours after his speech in the UK, thousands of Turks marched along İstiklal Avenue in central Istanbul, where they took part in a spirited demonstration of their support of the Palestinian cause attended by figures and groups with links to the Turkish government.

The Humanitarian Relief Foundation (İHH), a government-linked Turkish charity organisation that led the “Mavi Marmara” flotilla of ships attacked by Israeli soldiers while carrying aid to Gaza in 2010, was one of the groups with a strong presence at the march, where they reportedly gathered under the slogan “We came with Mavi Marmara, next we will come with our planes.”

The BBC is now referring to the Gaza incidents as a ‘massacre of Palestinians by Israelis’.

And the BBC has nothing to say about the Turks massacre of millions of Armenians last century. Unarmed civilian Armenians who were not protesting, just trying to eke out a living, but driven into the sea and killed for not converting to Islam. Screw the BBC, totally biased against jews and Israel.

We are the key to NATO, but I’ve been told there is no mechanism for removal of members.

Unfortunately some of the NATO members have close profitable ties to Turkey. They are bought like our politicians.

So, here we are.

If Istanbul is the only Arab capital holding a pro-Palestinian demonstration today, it’s a great day for Israel.

Even the Iranian Mullahs can’t seem to get anything going in Teheran. And what about Paris and London and Berlin? Shouldn’t there at least be protest rallies there in solidarity with the poor Palestinian bomb throwers who, according to the world press, are being massacred?

“Yep. And Erdogan the Islamist had an audience with the Queen today.”

The mayor of their capital city has told President Trump that he is not welcome in London? But Erdogan is?? Really?

They (meaning NATO members) trade with us as well and on a much larger scale than with Turkey. We can excercise some muscle. Now is the time to use it, when we have a President with the balls to do it.

I agree and if we cannot find a way around this, I think that will happen.

No, thousands from Turkey aren't marching to Gaza to try to sneak into Israel. “We came with Mavi Marmara, next we will come with our planes. Where do you think you'll land?

The solution to the problem in Turkey is regime change.

...and its a one man regime.

Where do you think you'll land?

I don't think landing is what they have in mind, they have in mind bombing.

There is nothing great about him, he is only evil.

The only greatness that is connected with him is the illusion in his mind.

He serves the wrong master.

Correct, he serves the adversary, as does every islamist.

But he is the one that will move against Jerusalem in the near future.
