Feminism & Marxism are both subsets of the compulsion to pretend there is such a thing as--or a valid ideal in pretending--that people are interchangeable; that any two of us are actually equal, as opposed to being unique--with all the good or ill that that involves.
Virtually all demagogues & scoundrels employ some variation of the egalitarian fantasy to hook the susceptible.
