Please bring the stories you find here so we have a reference in one place. An attorney named Robert Barnes has been all over Avenatti and exposing him. He brought forward info about the bar complaint.
“Exposing”?
That’s Stormy’s job,
along with flashing, teasing and exhibiting.

In my experience in federal criminal tax defense, I have never seen an easier case to prove of criminal tax evasion, or a more egregious case, that what #Avenatti did. A lawyer, who stiffed every tax authority, including Trust Funds employee taxes, in the millions, for years.

In January 2018, #Avenatti got an unidentified source of income that allowed him to pay $4.85M to his law firm employees he defrauded, close to $2M in back taxes for payroll taxes on his law firm, and near another $1M to other creditors. Same time as: new client #StormyDaniels.

What happened to the mystery suit by the Swiss Company against the current owner that let #Avenatti dodge rent for more than a year in a $12M home? The company never showed up in court, never proved they had any claim, & had their entire case dismissed: 30-2016-00872019-CU-BC-CJC

If hes since paid it I would say its a hard case. Cohen should file an ethics complaint against him over the way he handled the release of his bank records.
Keep looking - he has other wins.
This shyster owes a shedload of money in back taxes and for once I hope the IRS is all over him and takes every dime he brings in from his Go Fund Me.
20 Million ought to cover it...
Avenatti went toe-to-toe with a top-notch team from King & Spalding in a California class action over leaky surgical gowns by Kimberly-Clark and spin-off Halyard Health. He walked away with a verdict of $3.9 million in compensatory damages and a stunning $450 million in punitive damages.
The award was clearly vulnerablethe punitive damages were 115 times greater than economic ones, and there was no evidence of any physical injury. But its a reminder of how brutally effective Avenatti can be in front of a jury.
On March 30, U.S. District Judge Dolly Gee of the Central District of California whacked the award down to size, setting punitive damages at $20.7 million.
Sounds like Soreass money.

If I understand correctly - Stormy Daniels has the Go Fund Me campaign. And the success of that GFM effort is likely linked to her Porn fame.
I get it - Avenatti will likely get that money...but its not his GFM - and people aren’t donating to support him.

He claims it’s all crowdsourced...
Avenati is hoping to cash in on the Stormy Daniels charade, he really needs the money.
Not sure he does - read about the KC judgement.
I can’t say much - as I don’t really know what’s known.
Nor do I know what I’ve been told - (3 or 4th hand info) is accurate.
If its true - its probably known and discoverable by others.
Let’s see what others find.
Daniels and Avenati: The worst dogdoo on your best running shoes.
I don’t know - That article spends more time trying to source the Cohen>Stormy payment - and less time discrediting Avenatti. And the end of the article - he gets back on topic. Calling him a “fixer” seems to overlook or at least not acknowledge his record. He seems like an actual lawyer. Not sure it does Cohen any good to be compared to Avenatti, either.
