Actor John James (no relation) played Jeff Colby on “Dynasty”. In the new “Dynasty” reboot, Colby is played by a Black guy.

I agree that John James has a much higher upside than the other announced candidates to take on Stabenow. But I must say that Vernon Robinson’s old slogan, “Jesse Helms is back, and this time he’s black,” is a lot catchier than your proposed slogan of “Dynasty actor John James is back, and this time he’s black.” ; p
