I don’t understand Kamam’s official identification as “black.” She is beyond “high yaller” status, if she has any Negro dna at all.

Just a few decades ago, one was considered black even with only a hint of black blood in ancestry. Race has been an American icon for couple of centuries.
We need to stop race identification and hypenated Americans. It divides us unnecessarily.
