When asked if he's going to McCain's funeral. Trump should say "If I go to Arizona, it'll be to a rally."

That'll make heads explode for two reasons

  1. He never intended to go to the funeral, but will hold a rally at the same time, but even more to the point,
  2. He's not authorizing McCain's burial in Arlington National Cemetery. Per Presidential orders, McCain will be buried in Arizona somewhere.

McCain meets the requirements to be buried at Arlington a couple of times over - no matter what many think.

There are too many politicians with no connection to the military buried there.

Space is getting very limited and they are tightening up on just who can be buried there.

Only two from my family are buried there, both AF Ltc’s. The rest opted for family plots or regional state cemeteries. I’ll go to the state cemetery down the road a bit where my father-in-law is.
