Yes it’s true.

Employers and school district tell the kids they need a permit to get a job, then they say the kid has to have a job to obtain a permit.

It’s an evil catch-22.

And if your local school district is not in favor of minors working they can just deny permits across the board. The district next to ours does that.

I am hiring summer help and a very nice young lady would like to have one of the jobs. It is too bad that because of where she lives she probably will not be able to get a permit.
