McCain doesn't want Trump at funeral, friends tell White House
McCain, who has been battling brain cancer, and Trump have had a turbulent relationship. The senator wants Vice President Mike Pence to attend instead.

John McCain have told the White House that the ailing Arizona Republican does not want President Donald Trump to attend his funeral and would like Vice President Mike Pence to come instead, a source close to McCain confirmed to NBC News.
McCain, 81, has been battling an aggressive form of brain cancer for nearly a year and is back home in Arizona after he underwent surgery last month for an intestinal infection.

Telling someone not to do something you know they won’t do anyway. A last desperate grasp at trying to appear in control. He’s showing what a vindictive, bitter man he is.
I wonder if perhaps the Administration’s plan is to send Pence to begin with and someone told McCain and this is his way of taking the sting out of the Presidential snub?

History will record McCain’s obsession with hate during his last days. Not a good place to sit if you are getting ready to face eternity and judgment concerning the secrets of your heart while on this earth.
McCain really needs to set a date and send out formal invitations. Let’s get on with it!
