Commentary: The quest to build a million Obamas [barf]
CNN ^ | May 6, 2018 | By Hunter Schwarz

Barack Obama is done being on ballots, but there will be ample opportunities to support him in 2018.

A club of young politicians is trading on his popularity and mission to kick-start their own careers. And its all part of the master plan the former President has laid out.

At 56, Obama is more popular than he's been in nearly a decade, and as an ex-president, his favorable ratings are expected to keep rising. At a time when our politics has become increasingly ugly, divisive, and crude, a political figure like Obama is rare.

In his retirement, Obama is redefining the post-presidency. Although he's generally following the career path set by his predecessors -- there's a foundation, and the library and memoir are on their way -- he's doing it bigger.

"After I left office, what I realized is the Obama Foundation could eventually create a platform for young up-and-coming leaders, both in the United States and around the world," Obama said at a conference in Tokyo in March. "If I could do that effectively, then, you know, I would create a hundred or a thousand or a million young Barack Obamas."

A million Obamas. It's one of the most ambitious goals ever for a former American president.

Minting a million new Obamas is ambitious, and if the former president is successful inspiring a next generation of progressive leaders, he could leave a political legacy that lasts far longer than his eight years in office and is independent of his time as president.

Since they’re doing nothing but conning us, CNN should change the name to the Clinton Obama News Network - CONN.

All the more reason to indict him, prosecute him, and if not execute him then humiliate him such that he disappears forever.

We already have millions of “Obama’s sons” out there. We just need to get more of them to scrub their educational records.

The whole article is based on #FakePolling.

The alleged poll stating that Obama's popularity is 66% (FWIW, Bush's popularity was 61%) was essentially results from multiple polls taken over a one-year time period from Jan 2017-Jan 2018. There were 1005 respondents (truly representative of 300+ million people...) where the 33% described themselves as Democrats, 24% described themselves as Republicans, and 43% described themselves as independents or members of another party. There is so much wrong with this poll that it is hard to figure out where the bad starts.

As for 1 million Obamas, they're already out there....they are all the late night talk shows' audience members. Many former Obama supporters with whom I've spoken are now either mild Trump supporters or ambivalent toward Obama...a combination of a roaring economy and interest in the future vs the past has made Obama old news.

Obama may seem active and interested, but over time his narcissistic tendencies will doom him. The former president will undoubtedly tire of the tedium required to make such a thing happen, and then move on to other things like looking at himself in the mirror.

Scrapping up urban activists like himself al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, we can see it with Cory booker and the female Obama kamala Harris. Just for fun on goggle type in female barrack Obama and see what comes up.
