Rep. Nunes: House Intel Will Move to Hold Jeff Sessions in Contempt (VIDEO)

On Sunday morning Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) went on with FOX and Friends and dropped this bomb.

Nunes said the House Intelligence Committee will move quickly to hold Attorney General Jeff Sessions in contempt of Congress.

Rep. Nunes says he will move forward with a contempt resolution against DOJ AG Jeff Sessions for refusal to comply with latest House subpoena

Rep. Devin Nunes: Two weeks ago we sent a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, a classified letter. Per usual, it was ignored… So last week we sent a subpoena. Then on Thursday we discovered they’re not going to comply with our subpoena on some very important information that we need. The only thing we can do is we have to move quickly to hold the Attorney General of the United States in contempt. And that’s what I’m going to press for this week.

Bob didn’t insert the race issue, the Obama Administration did. Bob is just pointing out facts.

Hey semaj,

Why do Holder, Obama, the Media, the NFL, the ACLU, Schumer, Pelosi, Farakhan, “Hymietown” Jackson, Schiff, Hillary, the DNC, have to insert the race issue into every discussion? Stirring the pot?

By the way, if you didn’t notice, I didn’t like the tone of your first posting to me on this - essentially calling me a racist.

If you really do believe that, how about going back in my posting history and PROVING IT?

I bring up race where it makes sense - in this case it seems like the Justice Department can treat today’s Congress like crap because they got away with it during Obama. My point was that the ‘protections’ they (the Justice Department) had during Obama don’t exist now. For example, there was NO WAY that Holder/Lynch were going to be jailed for contempt (something that Congress has the power to do). But now, anything is possible, as the types of players, and thus the rules, have changed - and BIG TIME.

Total B.S.

He's not sure Jeff Sessions is personally aware of the request for documents and the subpoena?

Does sessions live in a cave with no TV, Internet or radio? Is his inbox full? VM is full? What a joke

Call sessions to congress again to testify and if he refuses to cooperate then have the bailiff take sessions into custody and lock him in the congressional jail.

They could have done this with Eric Holder. They didn't and look where holder is now !!

I am learning too many Freepers love the means and methods of Holder/Lynch. Obviously, the Sessions bashers, think the Attorney General's position is to be the President's personal attorney...

The DOJ is not independent. That's what the Deep State wants you to think.

Sessions and the DOJ work for the executive branch and they answer to the chief executive, in this case Donald J. Trump.

To say that "Freepers love the means and methods of Holder/Lynch", just because we want to see the Deep State taken down, and the rule of Constitutional law returned to the DOJ, the FBI and this country, is to really not understand what is going on.

Fine line between overstight and interference. Great plan to give what they have to Nunes so he can share it with his crat friends. Winning, not.

Nunes doesn't have any Democrat friends. Yet you think that he does.

Nunes' Democrat enemies on his committee could share information similar to the way Rosenstein and his rat friends at the DOJ and the FBI could do the same.

It's Congresses job to determine what is legitimate oversight. And I trust Nunes more than I trust Rosenstein to determine what is legitimate oversight.

For what it’s worth, I hold Jeff Sessions in contempt. I’m confident that he’ll emerge as an action hero any day now.

Oh, please.. Deep state is a creation of lawlessness. Or liberalism. Congress keeps them flush with taxpayers cash. Liberalism has polluted all three branches of government since the Constitution was penned. Some claiming to be on the side of ‘right’ have no problem using the same method and means ignoring the rule of law.

What methods are you talking about?

Do you think that the DOJ is independent??

The Attorney General is not the president’s personal lawyer. The Attorney General works for US, not the individual man Trump.

Who do you think that the AG answers to?

I can’t help but think Sessions has been thoroughly blackmailed and rendered powerless. He was a decent man, something happened.

That would depend on the specifics. Congress could impeach. The judiciary could toss his prosecutions out of court and render him impotent. The president could fire.
