That’s a lot tougher question to answer than it seems it you read all the stuff that’s out there it seems that Sessions is doing a huge job all behind the scenes. But, at the same time the pressure to fire so many is increasing although some are leaving, McCabe,Comey,Page,Stroke, many others.
Hear anything from Hillary, Zero, Podesta, many others? Not a word? Something is going on we just don’t know what.

Nunes on Fox and Friends just said he will be pushing in the Intelligence committee this week to hold AG Jeff Sessions in Contempt due to a continuing stonewalling of the House Intelligence Committees investigation of FISA abuses by the Obama administration in the wire tapping of Carter Page (Former Trump Foreign Policy Advisor)

Wow. Maybe the reason we see Rudy in the mix now. This may have been foreseen and give the Donald the ability to replace Jeff S , with Rudy.....

I for one would support that..... We need “ action people” now, not sit back in the shadows types and test the wind once in awhile...

Is that the one with Horowitz? That’s supposed to be a blockbuster....
.........................
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/04/16/justice-department-ig-horowitz-predicts-clinton-email-report-will-be-out-in-may.html

Justice Department Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz expects his wide-ranging report on the FBI and DOJ’s handling of the Hillary Clinton email probe to be finished next month and has been asked to testify before the House oversight committee on May 8, according to letters reviewed by Fox News.

Horowitz addressed the timing in a letter to Senator Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa.

He wrote that the report, which began in January 2017 with bipartisan support, has been extended due to “potentially important additional information and documents that recently came to our attention, and the interviews they have required us to conduct.” Horowitz continued, “my expectation is that we will issue our report in May, absent any new developments.”

A former member of the House oversight committee said the release of an IG report typically is followed by public testimony.

The Office of the Inspector General has not commented on the substance of the case, timing or new leads investigators are pursuing.

You mean kicking in the nads, mook and anybody can write water is wet are not criticisms? Interesting you were a really big guy in your little fishbowl.

Now lets see an example of some really good literature from you rather than your cute little snarks. We are waiting, something better than my “water is wet” nonsense.

Come on, lets see what you got.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Iran of lying about its nuclear program in a speech broadcast live Monday

i think the “ dark powers” knew this was coming, hence the accusations against Netanyahu to get him removed.

Hum... Two tell it like it is, in the interest of their country leaders....

Response by deep staters “ they must go” by whatever true or untrue means possible....

Proved by Brays excellent summary of the tried and true playbook of Dems and other world leaders...

No, you were the one lashing out at the ones supporting bloggers and you and your thug buddy used your usual thug tactics to silence them.

I just got tired of your nastiness. I have ignored you for years, but this showed just how petty and jealous you are.

Now give us an example of some inspired writing or just shut up.

We did the same thing, put them in the ground and went on our Danube cruise. Came back and all had died from cold. It’s never been this cold so long in this part of SC. Husband was very sad and asked if we should have a funeral for the garden we will not have this year? We did find some replacements to plant, but it won’t be the wonderful ones he grew from scratch. Good luck with your garden.

I’ve said on previous occasions that although Trump habitually likes to seize the initiative in surprising ways when confronted by problems, he’s actually more of a long-term planner. He understands that some problems have a quick fire tactical solution, but other problems have what can only be called inertia. They need patience and can’t be solved quickly, but must be picked apart over a few months or even a year or two. Any legal problems certainly have inertia and the concept of a quick settlement is a very relative term in legal circles.

His handling of the Mueller investigation has been classic Trump. The whole idea of Russia being able to significantly influence a presidential election was laughable from the very start, especially as I’ve no doubt Putin would rather be dealing with Clinton than Trump for reasons that have become obvious over the last year and a half.

Trump has curtailed Putin’s territorial ambitions on Russia’s western approaches and is presently pushing him out of his toehold in Syria. Trump is brutally taking back all the ground lost in the foreign policy disasters of the Obama, Clinton and Kerry years.

Nice summary. Agree completely with your take.....

That said, too much wind up here to test the deep blue.

How has it been that way ?

I agree. If Sessions wasn’t doing something significant

Trump would probably dismiss him. Things are going on behind

the scenes we will never know. Some loyal people do not leak,

unless there is strategy to do it.

Be that as it may, unless he was smothered to death a pillow over the head isn’t an indicator of foul play.

I man as old as Scalia ... would be very many ways to induce a fatal heart attack. Things virtually undetectable. They work because the target is old and pre-existing conditions.

DOJ had the case in 2014 and decided not to charge Manafort. Mueller revived the case. Here is Sundance's take:

Asst. AG Rod Rosenstein gave the special counsel the counterintelligence investigation and also gave them FISA Title-1 surveillance warrant authority; which allowed Robert Mueller to retrieve all communications (e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g) belonging to any person, entity or group, within two-hops of former unofficial campaign aide Carter Page. By extension this covered almost all the campaign officials, and also most of the Trump administration.

This is a critical point often misunderstood. When Mueller was appointed in May 2017, they began a criminal investigation (Title 3) by taking over the FBI counterintelligence investigation (Title 1). By design the counter-intel structure meant the special counsel had access to the entire gamut of active surveillance on almost every official in the Trump Administration; and every official in congress – without having to get a search warrant.

Ordinarily, under U.S. Title-3 criminal statute the investigative body, U.S. Attorney or Special Counsel, would need to go before a judge to swear out the reasoning for a search warrant and prove probable cause. Because the special counsel took Title-1 investigative authority (counterintelligence operation), they subverted domestic search and seizure protections applicable toward U.S. persons having nothing to do with foreign intelligence.

This melding of Title-1 and Title-3 legal authority is essentially what underpins Judge Ellis’s questioning. Judge Ellis began asking, and proving, that a 2005 and 2007 tax and banking case against Paul Manafort had nothing to do with a 2017 counterintelligence investigation about Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

A former member of the House oversight committee said the release of an IG report typically is followed by public testimony.

Horowitz was supposed the testify before Congress next week. It has now been postponed. Once the new date is set for the hearing, I would expect the report to be released a few days before the hearing.

“We are having today Meet the Porn, This Week Porn and the CBS Morning Pornography...”

I read the lineup (don’t watch) and was shocked at the sheer stupidity of how they keep pushing this old garbage. Then again, this is all they have and they are going to keep pushing it no matter how nuts it is.

Apparently, there is no “news” at all to cover but this aging drug addict who is trying to make money by hook or by crook.

The DNC Media apparently believes Christians won’t support the President if they tell them every day he may have had an encounter with this female more than a decade ago.

How’s that working out?

Thanks. This has been a hard winter, too, for mid-South Alabama. 3 snow storms, with one that had snow stay on the ground for four days!

I have NEVER seen snow stay on the ground for more than 12 hours here where I’ve lived for 21 years.

And before you Maniac* Lobsters start telling me about 6 months of snow; yeah, I’m talking about the Gulf Coast—not the North!

I waited to plant all my warm weather stuff. Usually, my tomatoes, pepper, eggplant and squash goes out in Early April.

I hope it doesn’t get extraordinarily hot this summer. My young plants need a couple of months to get good roots before it’s Deep Dixie Dog Days of Summer!
