Judge hands defeat to Mueller team in Russian troll farm case
Washington Examiner ^ | 5/5/18 | D Chaitin

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s team was handed a small defeat Saturday when a judge rejected their request to postpone the first court hearing regarding charges against several Russian companies and Russian citizens that they charge with attempting to use social media to meddle in the 2016 election.

An arraignment was scheduled for Wednesday for Concord Management and Consulting, one of the three Russian companies Mueller accused of contributing to a Russian troll farm operation to spread discord online during the presidential contest.

Mueller's team asked for a delay on Friday because it was unclear whether the firm had formally accepted the court summons for the case, but U.S. District Court Judge Dabney Friedrich, an appointee of President Trump, denied that request in a brief order Saturday. No explanation was given for the decision, according to Politico.

Looks like Mueller will have to scramble to come up with some ‘evidence’.

No doubt taxpayers will be shelling out overtime pay for more of this hoax.

This may well be why Trump hasn’t made any moves against Mueller - he had his judge and he knew that Russia was fighting back...and thus Mueller’s gang will now have to make total assess of themselves by dismissing.

With that, the timing may well be perfect to put an end to this crap.

“The Left will be screaming that the Judged needed to recluse himself!”

LOL...it’s starting to sound as if the conservative judges are doing any BUT ‘reclusing’ themselves. This is great!

Yeah, that is hilarious.
Mueller team’s eagerness to serve the media is backfiring.

Seem like Mueller is afraid of discovery evidence asked by the defense. So they were trying to delay, delay, delay

Here's one of the discovery requests:

"... the government is requested to turn over to defense counsel and to disclose:

From 1945 to present, each and every instance where any officer, employee and/or agent of the United States Government engaged in operations to interfere with elections and political processes in any foreign country"

Friedrich, a Trump appointee based in Washington, sided with Concord and said the arraignment will proceed as scheduled Wednesday afternoon.>>> I think trump did an early fortification of DC district judges just for this reason. I know of another who was on the transition team.

Lawyers do stuff like that to harass their opponents. Eventually they will negotiate a more reasonable request. And each gets to charge their client for hours of negotiations.

That particular request would take hundreds of clerks, 10 railroad boxcars of paper and an unreal amount of time and money to fulfill.

But it clearly makes the point that those who live in glass houses should not be throwing stones.

I’ll wager Their next move is to try to file an emergency motion to close/seal the hearing due to TS/Classified material or methods BS.

Then they will do their best to make the case disappear.

Such as they have with Flynn and Iwan (Mystery Pakistani IT flimsy flam man)
They sure ran from the Flynn Case once the Corrupt FISA Judge was removed and a real one started asking questions of the SC

So Mueller is likely only left with Plan C, which is to DROP THE CHARGES. Expect that next week, unless he tries some kind of appeal.>>> and i want the defendants to pursue the case as to why the charges are dropped and counter sue and still get discovery before the case can be dismissed. then file all kinds of stuff that i think you can file againts some who is wrongfully prosecuting you. and file my stuff with the DOJIG on the whole mueller/comey/rosestien/mccabe te al coup

between this and Judge Ellis demanding to see Mueller’s unredacted special prosecution charter in the Manafort case, the whole Mueller road show is on the verge of imploding.

Court is where the rubber meets the road, and Mueller is FINALLY having to bring his clown car show into court ...

Its a crime for foreigners to badmouth Hillary on Twitter? Was it illegal for Vincente Fox to badmouth Trump on Twitter?

This is a criminal case.

I don’t think you can counter sue in a criminal case.

“This may well be why Trump hasn’t made any moves against Mueller”

i was just thinking the same thing, particularly when you combine the MAJOR dressing-down Mueller just received by Judge Ellis in the Manafort case.

the timing of all of this is curious too, coming right after Trump AND Sessions both publicly said Mueller needs to put up or shut up. Either they knew these things were coming or they actually precipitated them behind the scenes.

My thought from day one on all of this BS special prosecutor russian collusion fiction was that it HAD to implode sooner or later since THERE WAS NO RUSSIAN COLLUSION! It looks like the “later” may be finally arriving.

My other thought from day one was that when this witch hunt finally imploded, that it was going to do immeasurable harm to the Dems and the media when it happened, because folks who’ve only been paying partial attention and who may have kind of believed that there must be at least SOME fire because of all the fake smoke being genned by the leftist fake stream media, would see the implosion and that there was no there there after all the fake smoke, and go: “WTF????”

This was no small defeat. The judge handed Muller his ass medium rare and told him to enjoy his meal.
