President Trump has recently been in touch with his former White House strategist Stephen Bannon after a falling out earlier this year, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Bannon, who was ousted from Trump's White House last summer, had a falling out with the president earlier this year over comments attributed to him in author Michael Wolff's controversial book "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House."
The reconnection between the two comes as Trump is reportedly turning to the counsel of outside advisers on critical topics such as the Russia investigation.
In recent months, the former Breitbart News chief has turned his attention beyond U.S. politics, going on a whirlwind tour through Europe to meet and strategize with right-wing party leaders.

On this one you and I agree. Steve Bannon went on 60 Minutes and called Trump’s firing of Comey the biggest mistake in modern politics. Only a jerk stabs the boss at exactly the time the Deep State is moving in for the kill. Knowing what we know now about lying snake Comey, Bannon’s advice to keep him on at the FBI was the worst advice in modern politics.
I think it was simply a matter of...too many cooks in the kitchen...
The only political advice that ever should be followed when you want to introduce “real changes” is Machiavelli. Trump was the equivalent of a non-hereditary prince taking over a hereditary (professional politician) state. The minute the oath of office was done, all district attorneys fired and all politically appointed leadership of bureaus, offices and agencies fired. The Rats do this! They assume that anybody left in place from a previous GOP administration will perform actions hostile to their “new” polices because that’s why they do! It’s hard to believe that Trump came in that naïve, but maybe he did.

Me too. I stated this before but the 2 engines behind the Trump election train was Bannon and Lewandowski. So what if Bannon was an asshole? He loves the country as much as Trump does.
The more I see of Trump, the more I wouldn't put it past him to have engineered this 'fight' with Bannon, to draw attention to the Comey story.
Now he gets round two of publicity as Bannon comes 'home'.
These days anything seems possible.

Little bit of the 4d chess mindset - I’d love to see it but doubtful IMHO.
I always liked Bannon. Yes he isn’t typical type one would find in DC, but then neither is Trump, thank God.

If I were Steve Bannon I would think twice about rejoining the Trump Administration.
I think President Trump Mistreated Bannonm because his ego may have been injured because of that fictional book.
Bannon was kicked in the teeth by Trump after Bannon went out of his way to get the President national exposure on the Breitbart Media site and Breitbart morning show on Sirius/XM Radio.
