Did we accidentally stumble across a sane judge?

Weren’t these issues previously investigated?
Has Mueller found any new and relevant facts?
Why hasn’t this litigation been transferred to a local US Attorney?

If the judge cannot see clear, public authorization, he should quickly dismiss the charges with prejudice. End the witchhunt.

Wow.
This kind of thing is what Mueller was afraid of in EDVA and why he quickly empanelled a second grand jury across the river in more swamp-friendly DC where he is more likely to get a rubber stamp.

Why is it Clapper can lie and the statute of limitations apply but something from before 2012 is fair game? If there are two sets of laws they ought to be issued when we register.
Republican.....obey the law

Actually not entirely unexpected. Hannity had a story a while back about Mueller's truly abysmal record of getting convictions. He's really good at conducting raids, issuing threats, and scaring the bejesus out of people, but when push comes to shove in a court of law, he comes up extremely lacking in building cases and leaves holes big enough for the defense to drive a semi through...

If a single judge can shut down Trump’s immigration orders or restart DACA, then a single judge can shut down the special counsel, right?

the judge said Mueller should not have unfettered power in his Russia probe and that the charges against Manafort did not arise from the investigation into Moscows alleged meddling in the 2016 U.S. election. When I hear common sense like this I'm surprised, that's how bad this Justice system has become.

Bless this judge—and I mean that most reverently. He is an island of sanity in a sea of Trump-haters.

I dont see what relationship this indictment has with anything the special counsel is authorized to investigate, U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis in the Eastern District of Virginia said.

He also asked the special counsels office to share privately with him a copy of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenteins August 2017 memo elaborating on the scope of Muellers Russia probe. He said the current version he has been heavily redacted.
Pattern. As in the FISA warrants, they again are asking a judge to make a decision while withholding relevant information from him.
I'd slam them.
