Everyone should read the WHOLE article.
Let’s see if cell use gets treated like smoking.
“May be” is one of the premier methods of panic peddling...’cause it also may NOT be.
Keith Neal, from the University of Nottingham, said: The suggestion that mobile phone use is responsible cannot be substantiated. The rise is greatest in the over 55s, who use mobile phones much less and there was very little mobile phone use in 1995 when rates are already increasing.
“But critics warn the study only identifies a trend in tumor diagnosis rates and does not provide sufficient evidence that mobiles are to blame.

...Mobile phones may be behind a surge in a deadly brain tumor, scientists say.
Or maybe not...
How many are home grown, and how many came to the UK for treatment?
This was talked about 20 years ago. I seldom use the phone against my head. I use the phone in conference mode or hands free in my cars.
We need to give every member of Congress two cell phones on an earmuff band.
My wife and I are going to die in a fiery car crash, so I do not fear my cell phone. Plus, I rarely make calls, and when I do, it’s usually in speaker mode.

More likely aliens, or Russia.
Good friend (75) dying of brain cancer...she was not a big cell phone user...FWIW
Except of course they aren’t. People have been holding magnets against their head for various reasons for a long time. Phones didn’t cause brain tumors. Headphones didn’t. And of course the modern cellphone hardly ever actually winds up against your head. It was junk science in the 90s and it’s still junk science today.
gender of users?
number of times in 24hours used?
Ruration of each usage?
All electromagnetic radiation (EMR) with frequencies below higher ultraviolet (low ultra violet, visible light, radio waves) are non-ionizing. High ultra-violet, gamma waves and x-rays are ionizing.
The typical house has quite a few non-ionizing radiation emitters. TVs, wi-fi routers, cell phones, cordless phones, microwave ovens. EMR is all around us at all times.
The only thing about cell and cordless phones is that we use them by putting them right up against our head. The closer a transmitter is to the brain, the more effect it would have, assuming there is some type of effect.
Blue tooth is better...don’t stand in front of microwaves, either
I text far more than I talk and I suspect that’s true of most cell phone users.
More likely a link between heavy metal poisoning and brain tumors. Environmental toxin buildup.

Perhaps the increase is simply due to an increasingly elderly population?
Who the hell holds the cell phone to the ear ?
That’s stupid with speaker and Bluetooth
